  1. hi guys, this is my parameter layout for the Waves SSL Channel. I use it with a Mackie Universal Control. So parameters are layed out over 8 parameters on different pages. each page represents a specific section of this plugin (filte/eq/comp/gate) page 1 : FilterSplit / empty / empty / empty / empty / empty / HP filter / LP filter page 2: EQBypass/ empty / HF Type / HF Gain / HF Frq / HMF Gain / HMF Frq / HMF Q page 3: empty / empty / LMF Gain / LMF Frq / LMF Q / LF Gain / LF Frq / LF Type page 4: DynBypass / empty / empty / empty / CompThresh / CompRatio / CompFast / CompRelease page 5: empty / empty / empty / ExpAttack / ExpRelease / ExpThresh / ExpRange / ExpGate too bad it has taken me so long to get to this point of working with my controller. This plugin is my first go to unit for every channel. If you get the hang of it, it works so fast and intuitive ! turn those knobs ! I'm very happy to share this, especially because of the awesome support i had on this topic in this forum to figure this out. big up for the guys who follow up on all these posts with sensible answers !! grts, Michel CSParameterOrder.plist parameter layout for Waves SSL Chanel. Layout per 8 parameters over 5 pages
  2. Thanks that's clear Question. A lot of my plugin preset folders don't have the' CSParameterOrder.plist' file in their specific plugin preset folder Does that mean i can create them from scratch, then drop them in the correct location and it should work ? or should i find and adjust an existing 'CSParameterOrder.plist' thanks !
  3. Hi, i work with a Mackie Control and Logic. Obviously there is a function which allows you to control your plugins. Pressing the 'plugin' button on my controller aligns the parameters of the plugins over my rotary knobs of my Mackie Universal mixer. the issue is that these parameters are presented in a certain sequence. in Logic in the plugin window you have the option to choose view > controls this is a list of parameters of the selected plugin without the fancy editor view. this is also the order in which the parameters are presented on the rotary knobs of my Mackie controller ! the problem here is that sequence doesn't always make sense!! for example my Waves SSLl eq sequence is LF gain, LMF gain, HMF gain, HF gain, Gain, HP freq, lF frq etc.. ideally it would be LF gain, LF freq, LF Q , HMF gain, HMF freq, HMF Q etc.. like it's laid out on a mixer if i could adjust the order of these parameters i could perfectly control my plugins in a pleasant straightforward way ! I read the "New hidden feature, Logic 9 plug ins parameters order post on this forum" which is the exact answer to my problem. it talks about a "CSParameterOrder.plist" in the "Plug-In Settings" folder i can't locate any of this on my computer... if this is actually the solution where do i find this ?? If there is a more obvious way to do this, please shoot !! I think this is an issue useful for every DAW controller user. there should be a way to define the layout of parameters over yr controller's controls right ?? this by adjusting settings (in this case the sequence of plugin controls) of the plugin, not the controller.. can anybody help me out ? would be a massive step up in my workflow ! thanks, Michel
