Hm. I can't tell what's the problem from this distance, but it's totally right to first start logic and then start reason. Check your routing. Check if your in your Logic the 64 Buss Access is activated (this is because i've used channel 64 as a submaster bus for everything. Example: 1. open logic 2. open reason 3. create Dr. Rex in Reason and load whatever… push play 4. you should hear the rex file in logic. - check the rewire objects 1-16: - go to "reason 1" and rename it "rex 1", also assign Rex 1 to it 5. Go back to the arrangement and create a sequencer track Rex 1 (it think i've put them into instruments-->global ojects… check the list) 6. Play on your keyboard and you ought to hear the rex slices. 7. If this doesn't work check the guide in the attachment. cheers patte How to use ReWire (propellerheads).rtfd.zip

Thanks David, no I am not confused, I am relieved. I haven't tested it yet, but yesterday this happend late at night. Since the crash has erased all my keyboard shortcuts and system configuration it is obvious that I reconfigurated logic a bit to much. Unviersal Audio Tracks… got to know. cheers patte

Since logic has crashed i can't use mono busses. I've routed all my instruments, audio, busses on one submaster-bus. now i can't assign it back, i'm only able to assign stereo-busses. totally fxxxed up. patte

If you are using my environment check following things. rewire object - Is a instrument selected arrangement - is the instrument you want to play selected …… more details would be 'a help' to help.

Do anybody has an idea why my v-synth isn't sending controller data to logic, for exapmple when i want to record an automation of the cut-off (a classic). I hear the variation but logic doesn't let me record it. even with a monitor or in the transport-window i can't see any controller data. in apples midi/audio configuration the v-synths only knob who is sending is the value-knob. i've checked a lot of things in the last 2 days but I don't come further. the helpess patte
