  1. I'm having problems setting up my moog voyager in a correct way with Logic 9,1. I have an edirol FA66 firewire interface. When I program a midi sequence and send it to my moog, audio is returning to the interface input channel. I have an audio track set up in Logic with the I highlighted to preview this. When played it does not playback in sync with the other audio channels. BUT when I record it, it is in sync. However, when I go to preferences - midi -sync and adjust the delay time for all midi channels, the monitoring of the sound is in sync but when recording, it is not being recorded in sync with the other audio channels My buffer is set to 128. IS there a way to resolve this? ""
  2. How exactly can using aliases instead of copy's help me with this issue?
  3. Thank you for your input Beej, I don't know why, but after restarting and retrying it works now. Anyone know whether it's possible to change all regions with a new sample?
  4. I'm currently working with audio in the arrange window. I insert single drum sounds and build my beats this way. However I have faced some problems I can't get to resolve. I want to program my kickdrum in a triplet signature. I tried changing /16 to /12 in the transport bar but this doesn't change the grid visually. Ok, maybe when I select a region (single kickdrum) and drag it, it locks on the correct spot... but it doesn't do that either. I changed snap to division but still no success. I tried them all, none of them actually snaps to a triplet groove. What am I doing wrong? And isn't it possible to change the grid, where the locaters are in a /12 or /32 ? And another thing I would like to know working this way. Let's say I have x amount of individual regions (like a snaredrum) is it possible to select them and having them all replaced by a new sample, somewhere stored in my sample library?
  5. I have just installed Logic 9 on my new iMac. I have noticed that within the drop down menu in Ultrabeat pattern selector, the names are "wrong" in the sence that they are made up of random numbers and symbols.. I don't recall them being this way on my previous iMac. What can be wrong?
  6. I think I saw someone do it in a video. With a sweep he cutted up an audio region in a fixed division. Is this possible? let's say you cut up a region in 16th division with a sweep or mouseclick?
  7. Ty Eric, it works. Can't believe I didn't think of trying this.
  8. I'm runnig Logic 9.1.1 on an intel iMac OS 10,5,8 . I have the latest version of trillian running. The dropdown box, when viewing track automation in Logic is showing numbers 1-127 like so 1level 2level 3level 4level 5level 6level 7level 8 9level ... the numbers 10-127 don't have level written behind them. Level1 controls the volume of internal mixer within trillian... I want to automate the controls on the main tab.
  9. I'm no hero in midi messages etc so forgive me if i'm asking something basic. But I can"t get Logic to automate Trillian. Just twisting a nob while "latch" doesn't work. I also don't see for ex 'cutoff' in the dropdown box in the automation section. Any help please how to get this working. Thanks
  10. I have just installed Logic 9. Following issue occurs: Long delays fade out in cracks and noise. Pre-listening sounds in the library gives noise. I'm running on a iMAc 2,66Ghz intel duo core, 2Gig ram OSX 10,5,8 and with a firewire Edirol FA66 audio interface. What do I need to adjust to get this working in order? I'm total noob in this. On the back of my audio interface I have a switch between sample rate 192 96 48 or 44,1. What setting is most suitable? And in Logic audio's preferences how do I define the buffer size? Is adjusting this even the right way to resolve this issue? help will be very appreciated
