1. be able to cut at the marquee selection so snap to transient is actually useful.
2. Be able to separate at transients from what is generated from beat mapping
3. The ability to have the same functionality as Protool's import session data
That being said I'm totally impressed with almost all of the changes in LP8
Ok In protools I can tab to transient and make a cut at every transient very quickly with 2 key commands.
I've tried several combinations in LP8 but I can't seem to get it working right because I can split at marquee. The playhead has to be there to spit. So I've been pressing play to move the playhead to the marquee.
Any thoughts on how I can get it going a bit quicker?
Try taking journaling off of your audio drive and setting your available record time to 10min or less.
For some reason Logic doesn't like a journaled audio drive. (Logic 7 or 8)
Hi ,
I have BFD 1.456 B10 and am looking to get it working through rewire. I know it does not work in multi out mode in Logic 8 yet. I've read that some people have got it running through rewire. I've tried and Logic doesn't see to see it.
What am I missing?
The ability to drop the playhead and press record and have preroll and hear whats on the track during preroll and post roll.
This can only be done now if you have a selection and autodrop is on .
Does any one know if the "export all files to audio files' takes a mutli out instrument and makes a audio file for each out now.
In LP7.3 it just created a stereo file.
I mostly use it for differenciating between the numbers on the numeric keypad and the numbers on the qwerty keypad and for the function keys.
I haven't found much other use for it.
I'm finding it hard to get it to the right division. I tried 16th notes and it works. But then 32nd notes I can't. So if the region starts on 35|3|3|1 I should cut at 35|35|3|3|120 for 32nd notes and 35|3|3|60 for 64th notes. Correct?
How do I get the scissors tool to snap to those values.
