  1. Wow, thanks David, I didn't know about that feature in the arp I didn't know you could drag it, the only thing is when I do for the arp'd midi it only render one eight note, or one phrase of an arp'd chord, so if it's a C E G chord, it only puts out three eight notes arpd
  2. Howdy fellas I use the arp a lot for speed when writing, be it for powerchords to not have to hit cut the notes in eight notes or whatever setting, and normally when making the midi do this I use the Opt + cut cursor thing to cut the whole midi notes into eight notes later, to humanize it, but is there any easier way to do that to not have to cut up each note? I know it's a lot to ask xD I feel asking this may even be a waste of time, but who knows maybe there's a magical way I'm not aware of
  3. Do you have an interface? This behaviour only happens when I use the microphone input of my laptop with no interface. It lowers it to -24 db I do have an older version of logic X, my OS can't handle the newer update. this might have been fixed
  4. Thanks for your answer. Would this be a track stack? like a summing stack or a folder stack? It would be via the region inspector I imagine? I feel you wouldn't need to pack them into a stack because this is transposing the midi
  5. Hey guys, is there a way to transpose multiple instruments on the left side with teh inspector on the "track drop down" call me lazy, it's just easier to have it set to C/Amin and I like writing in E, and I don't want to have to transpose several instruments. I know I can change keys with the global bt it transposes the midi and my brain has to switch gears
  6. Hey thanks for the response. I did I think it's a safety thing to avoid feedback but... C'mon were professionals xD it just seriously throws my work flow off and I'm considering writing the volume on the track name for when I hit the input monitoring I won't forget the volume I had it in
  7. When using my laptop mic for demo vox or something, and I hit the input monitoring the fader autiomatically dims to 24 db. I understand safety, but is there a way to cancel this? It's pretty annoying when recording on the same track and it just throws the volume fader and doesn't go back to normal
  8. AND IT ALSO SUMS IT TO MONO!!! SO ALL THESE YEARS I'VE BEEN PUTTING A GAIN PLUGIN WITHOUT PURPOSE *dies*
  9. *GASP* seriously??? ALL THESE YEARS... How dare I call myself a Logic Producer, shame one me o.o
  10. Howdy fellas. What's the easiest way to break down the LR of a stereo track into two mono? My first instinct is to pan hard L then bounce in place, and then pan hard right and then bounce in place and violá but I'm trying to think if there's a slightly easier way like in Pro-tools where you just drag the stereo region fro the stereo track onto two mono tracks, smae thing for putting them together. Of course I could pan one mono hard left and the other hard right and then bounce in place (I think merge also works, but I think merge is pre-insert, and I don't know if pre-fader
  11. AWW NICE THANK YOU now it really is 100% accurate as I think it's moving by ticks! Thank you so much man! 13 years of logic and I just learned this lol. I mean it's not everyday I use beat mapping Thanks again my fellow music enthusiast and logic pro afficionado ^-^
  12. Howdy fellas! How are ya? My question. Is there a way to create my own transient in beat mapping? I've analyzed the track, and it's not recognizing a transient, and I've hit the + button several tines but no luck. I thought maybe by engaging flex mode and marking the transient by hand on the track, but no luck either. Anybody know of a way to do this?
  13. Howdy guys, this is a feature they've had for a long timethat came with some update and I just thought "Well hell... Maybe there's a way to disactivate it cuz it's really jsut annoying" so when in ticks or samples mode, or the snap is completely off, a midi note automatically snaps back to where it was if dragged near that spot. Is there a way to disactivate that or is the only way to work around that now is to drag it away from it's current location and the redrag?
  14. OOOH FREE DEMO!!! Thanks! It does look compelling! And I get to try it to see if I catch it quick
  15. Didn't think so. And it's impossible to make my own mod for it although my knowledge of programming is nigh non-existent Or, maybe I'd be better off just aking my own plugin or something using some form of plugin creator I believe logic has that capacity but I've never had a strong enough need to do that (unless I were to find a purchasable plugin that could fit my needs, another question I posted in another thread lol) I'm really warming up to the exs24 thats why I'd be willing to mod or get assistance to mod it to fit my needs, it's really a powerful plugin that makes logic a REALLY good deal, with all of the native stuff it has
