  1. Quick way (temporary solution) could be to "Bypass All Control Surfaces" : Choose Logic Pro > Control Surfaces > Bypass all Control Surfaces. Longer method (idealy definitive solution): Hunt to find out what MIDI data your controller (m-audio hammer 88 keyboard) is sending to trigger the unwanted freezing command, spot it in the Controller Assignment window to finally delete that entry. The second method would be useful to undergo if the first (Quick) way provided a (temporary) solution to your issue.
  2. That is an interesting question… If possible, could you try reverting to before importation and opt for enabling that "Keep Bus Number" option? Besides, I wonder if the "Automatic Bus Assignment Uses" setting in Audio>General Logic’s Setting could be at stake (one way or another) in your issue?
  3. My first thought would be to experimenti with Smart Controls. Alternately, I would make the automation (as CC if possible/needed/applicable) and use fader object in the Environment. The Vector fader object might prove being quite useful here… Eventually an hybrid approach of the above… (admittedly, that is uncharted grounds to me)
  4. For the benefit of other eventual users seeking for a solution to a similar issue, would you mind marking my former post as such?
  5. As described by @David Nahmani, : simply remove the checkmark before the Varispeed option in the LCD menu:
  6. That is a definite no! no! That will likely corrupt your opened projects (possibly both of them). And chances you won’t notice it until late enough not to remember when that might have happen. Instead, rebuild your project by importing the data from one to the other, while having only the new one destination project opened.
  7. If that occurs, it might be worth making this as a sticky to entice new comers to participate… Perhaps reiterate the poll on a yearly basis could reveal the tendencies…
  8. I’d venture to say that is probably due to the fact that a channelstrip (in the mixer) is a different object than the track (in the main/tracks area)…
  9. Here is some documentation to improve Smart Tempo analysis outcome…
  10. Not an expert in that field, but have you tried Syncopation and/or Interpretation options?
  11. Sorry, I’m not sure to understand your issue here. Output 1-2 is the Logic default Stereo Out…
