  1. As mentioned by @JakobP, disable "Automatic Installation" by un-markchecking it under "New" in the CSS window...
  2. That and if you copy drag data from one project to another opened one…
  3. Try this: In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu. Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field. Press the Go button. Delete the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file from the preferences folder. Note: Type the path exactly as described, including the ~(tilde) -----> ~/Library/Preferences
  4. Have you inspected your Controller Assignment window? Wiggling your MW should highlight its parameter’s assignment. In such a case, I would delete that entry. Wiggling again the MW to highlight should highlight the other eventual assignment. Proceeding the same way again until no other assignment shows up could normally solve the issue. Such exercise could shed some light on the extent of the issue. However, the cause of that mishap remains unaddressed… Perhaps your project (project template) has been corrupted. Thus I would consider getting rid of those…
  5. Flex pitch features various ways (algorithms) to edit your voice recorded material. Yes, indeed… Varispeed is probably what you are looking for…
  6. I think that using the Piano Roll in its own separate window (instead of in the editor tab under the track area) would yield larger vertical expansion. Additionally, a screenset for that very purpose might be useful…
  7. Have you tried saving your project (as a project alternative) after proceeding with the tracks freezing? Or perhaps create tracks alternatives? BTW, on which precise versions of Logic and which macOS Mac are you encountering your issue?
  8. For the benefit of other eventual users seeking for a solution to a similar issue, would you mind marking my previous post as such?
  9. How about removing the check mark for the B+ auto assignment LUA script (in MIDI Controllers settings)?
  10. As hinted above, I’m kind of firing blind here… What happens if you select Create Take Folder instead?
  11. Just out of curiosity, where did you get Logic?
  12. (Not at the studio to verify same / just a hunch…) What are your Overlapping Track Recordings settings? Does that involve one of the options that create a new track?
  13. Have you considered using Markers? Those could be added in realtime during the playback using a (customizable) key-command, while following the score view. You could rename them, colour them, write notes in them, for futur references. Once your markers created, you could jump to one another with a click of the mouse or by mean of key-commands, which represent a meaningful/useful way to navigate your project (and the various part of your performance). You could have many sets of markers for different purposes.
  14. I think this is possible on (Mackie) MCU, it’s called flip group. If your controller could be ran in MCU mode, perhaps it will support that feature…
