Could you please specify what you would like to have? Not at the studio to verify same, but if you don’t want to have the count-in the 1234 button could toggle it on/off.

Could you elaborate on this? Over here, when I load a MIDI file on a track, either changing the software synth or reassigning to another channelstrip, isn’t a problem…

In worst cases, if realistic, you could consider rebuilding your project by importing from that 10.4 project file its data content into a fresh new project (not using a pre-existing project template).

Copyright concerns apart, if you can isolate that bass sound, Sampler could be useful to obtain those played notes (and few neighbour ones) with rather ease… Then build an instrument from there.

Have you considered copy-pasting (to a text editor) the names of the regions appearing in the Event List editor. Then, to save from having to type each bounced regions, copy-paste those previously copy-pasted regions’ names (from the text editor) to the produced files. Admittedly not a one shot deal solution but definitely a saving-time one.

I’d venture that your project got somehow corrupted. I would try rebuilding it by gradually importing its content into a fresh new project (not using an existing project template).

I wonder if that has to do with the nature of the content of the tracks (in the stack to be nested)?
