  1. How about removing the check mark for the B+ auto assignment LUA script (in MIDI Controllers settings)?
  2. As hinted above, I’m kind of firing blind here… What happens if you select Create Take Folder instead?
  3. Just out of curiosity, where did you get Logic?
  4. (Not at the studio to verify same / just a hunch…) What are your Overlapping Track Recordings settings? Does that involve one of the options that create a new track?
  5. Have you considered using Markers? Those could be added in realtime during the playback using a (customizable) key-command, while following the score view. You could rename them, colour them, write notes in them, for futur references. Once your markers created, you could jump to one another with a click of the mouse or by mean of key-commands, which represent a meaningful/useful way to navigate your project (and the various part of your performance). You could have many sets of markers for different purposes.
  6. I think this is possible on (Mackie) MCU, it’s called flip group. If your controller could be ran in MCU mode, perhaps it will support that feature…
  7. Oopsy! How could I have missed that!?🥴
  8. ▶️ BTW, there are many options readily available, accessible when right-clicking (or Ctrl-clicking) on the different Logic’s interface buttons …
  9. Don’t forget to remove the checkmark next to the Click While Playing option:
  10. Wild guess here: Have you tried Bypassing All Control Surfaces? Choose Logic Pro > Control Surfaces > Bypass all Control Surfaces.
  11. How about using the Producer’s kits instead of the regular ones? That way you would have better pan (and other) control(s) over each kit pieces
  12. I would consider the sounds I like to play as well. IOW, setting the various hardware synth in their preset tracks is an efficient way to build hardware templates in Logic, but also having tracks for the type of instruments (bass, piano, synth, drone, solo, drums, percussion, sound fx, etc) is one fundamental aspect of the templates setting I would consider, since music is (in my view) based on instruments playing together…

Have you checked (among other things0 the included Chord MIDI plugin? For scaling in Piano Roll:
  14. Not at the studio to test same. I wonder if the Snap setting could be at stake…
