I didn't do this, however what I did do was in that same project file I created a new midi track and chose just a regular patch built into logic and then tried same thing moving notes around, clicking on notes and I can hear the sound every time I click it even if I try to play back so its making me think its something with that particular kontakt library maybe? No, I do not.

It’s a kontakt plug-in so it’s selected on that track. It’s a strings patch in kontakt.

This is so frustrating and I can't find anything online about it. When clicking on a midi note, I am not hearing the sound. However, if I turn off my audio interface and then back on and then try clicking a note I can hear the sound again. But as soon as I try to play back the track, stop it and try clicking the note again I then lose the sound again as I click on the midi note. Any Ideas? Please see video clip attached. I figured out I was looking in key commands for some reason but yea it is definitely in the Controller Assignments panel like you stated. thank you!

I tried switching to one of the default key commands such as US instead of my own custom but its still occuring

Yep its definitely assigned to something because when I enable Bypass All Controls it doesn't happen

Whenever I hit a certain note on my midi controller it causes the sequence to rewind/playback. Not sure what could be causing this or how this even started happening. I looked in my Key Commands and did not see anything that would be assigned to it.

I am at a friends gig and he is running audio using logic but it will not allow him to record multiple tracks at the same time. If he selects multiple tracks and enables recording it only enables recording for one track. We even tried creating multiple tracks and enabled multi recording that didn’t work either someone please help asap!

I just purchased a brand new audio interface which is the Scarlett i8i8 Focusrite. I have an iMac and I am now going to be using the Audio Interface as my main output volume, however the only issue and annoying thing is that I can no longer control the keyboard volume from my computer keyboard. The volume icon in the menu bar is dimmed out and when I try to adjust the volume I just get the crossed out circle icon. Anyone have any work arounds or suggestions to be able to control the volume from my keyboard again? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hello everyone, I am in desperate need for help in finding a Midi Controller for a friend of mine. My friend has been using the M-Audio Ozonic midi controller for years which unfortunately is no longer supported on Mac OS High Sierra. Unless someone out there made a driver for it that will work with High Sierra. The reason he loves this midi controller so much is because he likes to have everything all in one piece. He does not want to have a midi controller and an audio interface separate. Im not sure if there is even anything out there like it anymore but if there is anything as close as possible to it please let me know any help would be greatly appreciated. He has two audio monitors and a microphone that would plug into it. You can find an image of it below. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

ahh, yes I did try to move it and create an alias so that it was running from an external drive instead of my main computers hard drive. I was following this video thats probably what messed it up

Nope, no menu bar to click on. I asked about this also in a Logic group on Facebook and someone suggested unplugging everything from the computer then try loading it. I did this and then tried opening Logic and it booted up immediately. We isolated the issue down to being one of my external drives thats causing the issue. I found out that it is is my audio drive which all my audio libraries are linked to but i've never had this problem before.

I just started having a really strange problem recently where Logic will not open. All I get is the splash screen and nothing else. I have to restart my computer every time to get it to load its very strange. Never had this problem before. I even set it to where it does nothing when it opens but that didnt seem to help much either. Please help!
