  1. So i Drop the .cst file in the proper folder, now what?? i can't seem to figure out how to open it in logic?
  2. Sounds good, so i've just been messing around with it, and just creating a duplicate track and changing the LFO's on each track, and leaving them, then i will create a basic loop, cut it up and drag the parts i want played faster to the second track with a new LFO? Not sure if this is the best way to do this? On another note, i am having trouble cutting up the samples, i remember how to do in Pro Tools but is there a similar way in logic i see they have the sample editor which i cant seem to figure out, and you can also use the scissor tool in the main transport window as well. I want to zoom right in cut up exactly what im looking for, and then copy it to a new track so i can edit it. So the only thing i can seem to get it to work is to zoom in on the main transport window, take the scissor tool cut it where i want it then copy and paste it to a new track. But then i see the sample editor and i am not sure what that is used for. i assume its not soo much for cutting up a sample more so for editing the sample after its cut? perhaps i should start a new thread for this subject
  3. That fixed it LOL! i had to make sure that i had the Transport track highlighted on reason, and then the subtractors and thors work fine. Thanks
  4. I get the same thing with Thor as the subtractor, track3 triggers thor3 track2 triggers thor 3 and 2 track1 triggers thor 1 and 3 i took pictures to make sure i'm doing it right, http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/pp175/dash006/Screenshot2010-01-14at33024PM.png http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/pp175/dash006/Screenshot2010-01-14at33010PM.png http://i409.photobucket.com/albums/pp175/dash006/Screenshot2010-01-14at32953PM.png
  5. I'm getting similar behaviour. I wonder if something is broken in Rewire at the moment. I don't recall having this experience before. Lol great, its not just me.. i've been messing with it for hours trying to figure out what i did wrong. Is this something we should report to Logic or do they already know about it?
  6. My problem with this, is that once i have the two tracks if i go to subtractor 1 it will play just subtractor 1 if i switch and highlight the subtractor 2 track in logic, and play a midi note on the keyboard reason will trigger the sound of both subtractors. this is frustrating. And when i record i can never tell if its recording both playing at once or just the one highlighted, i must have my rewire setup wrong, but ive watched 100 youtube videos and it only ever shows them doing rewire with one track from reason. My ideal would to have the automation match my tempo, then regardless of what i play it will speed up in certain parts and slow down in others, almost like a "Drum loop" but using automation, then i can just modify this automation a little to create a second loop, and copy it to the synth i want automated, SO what i want to do, "so example regardless of the synth i play, when i play a "C, C#, D, D# E" The LFO1 Rate will be in 1/16 timing, when i play a F, F#, G, G# A, it will change and be in 1/8 timing." again this is the theory but i have no clue how to do this or if its possible Thanks for your input, ill defiantly try that method for now, i know ill need to know automation already considering the amount of synths i need to make the sound i want, for example the first two bars to be in 1/8 then quickly change to 1/16 then like 1/32, then 1/4 finally back to 1/16 to give it that stutter effect, and then settling back into regular timing..
  7. Okay, step one signature complete, did i miss anything? Question: Make Dubstep by creating LFO Rate Automation on each note (can someone explain how this is done)"- I would like each note on my keyboard to have different automation, but some similar More Details: Using Reason on Rewire, i would like to create everything in Logic using reason similar to what you would do for a plugin, but i am not sure if that is possible? How would i go about this, would i make it in Reason and transfer, or make it in Logic and transfer to Reason and then play back to logic. i would like it to work just like a plugin, again not sure if thats possible Can someone explain how to do this?
  8. So im trying to automate Reason from Logic, and also Trying to automate anything in logic within logic. http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs121.snc3/16876_1326540891882_1481725045_30916173_3766171_n.jpg http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs141.snc3/16876_1326540971884_1481725045_30916175_6526062_n.jpg So i got this really crappy automation going, " im trying to automate the LFO 1" RATE, to create those dubstep feeling wobble changes.. but once i did that then i couldn't hear the instrument after i did the automation, I guess im looking for direction on where i can learn automation of Reason in Logic. But anything on automation would get me in the proper direction Ideas thoughts and comments please and thank you
