  1. If Apple implements playlist/take handling at the track level (not individual regions), stereo waveforms display, and a narrow mixer mode... you will see Pro Tools customers migrating in *droves*. Creatively, these things aren't entirely necessary. But for project management on larger scales, they are.
  2. Does this happen on anyone else's system? When I engage the low-latency mode, the instrument I'm playing gets extremely quiet. I'm using Omnisphere in this instance.
  3. We have to assume that the bars are right and the legends have been off. What the meters actually show level-wise can't be changed by us. Most of us modders have adjusted the numbers to be correct.
  4. My mods so far are for linear mode only. There's a single graphic for the meter inactive state, which means that if you want numbers on the meters, you have to choose one or the other to install. I may make exponential versions, but haven't yet. I don't like exp mode, anyway.
  5. Thanks man. The cool thing about these mods is you can mix and match elements to get exactly what you want. There are problems in regards to the pans and faders, however, that make it nearly impossible to make them better. 1. The pan knob graphic does not rotate and displays the pan value right on the knob. This does not leave much room for creativity. 2 The fader knob has the fader value on it, and uses a *very* small graphic. There's almost no room to experiment. I've seen some guys try to put little tiny fader pictures on them, and it just looks really out of proportion. That said I'm going to try to get more creative with looks that work!
  6. ampgui v2 available. Still a work in progress, but enjoyable where it's at
  7. Wow. That looks a bit like Jack Nicholson in his ..um... "I'm down with sheep" phase. Or is that a self portrait?
  8. Gee, thanks, bluey. I love it when people have nothing better to do than knock what someone else has contributed. What a jerk.
  9. It's a valid question, and was always a concern on systems of the past. The graphics processing on these new machines is so ridiculouss these days that redrawing stationary numbers and non morphing-colors is nothing. Literally nothing. Your computer wouldn't even notice if every number was a different colorl The operating system itself is much harder on graphics processing than any DAW interface. All that to say, you can have no fear. Swapping out some graphics files won't affect your performance at all.
