  1. Hi David, Thank you. I will start a new thread too if that's better. When I record a new track, it is slightly out of sync as soon as I start playback. It's very minimal but enough to make whatever I just record be out of time. I've been using Logic for years on huge projects, so I've checked the basics including 'recording delay' being at 0, flex time being off and low latency mode being turned on. Why would this all of a sudden be happening? Thanks.

  3. I am having this problem too now. Are there any solutions? I have recording delay at zero and no plugins. Whatever I record is just a hair off and makes it unlistenable. Also no flex time...

  5. This is happening to me now too and recording delay is set at 0. Any ideas?

  7. Some of these are older sessions that I am wanting to upscale. Thanks that works with bouncing the flexed tracks! One other odd thing that happened tho is that some of the loops and MIDI tracks seem to be altered. I've had to re-fly in certain loops and some MIDI tracks have static and pops now once I upscaled. Any idea about this?
  8. Hello, I have a few projects that need to be upscaled from 44.1k to 88.2 and from 48 to 96. What's the best method of doing this? I followed the only YouTube link I could find but it's still all mutated sounding. I selected all files and hit the convert button and saved them in a separate folder, but it seems like the ones that are mutated are the tracks I have flex time and flex pitch on. How can I remedy this? I want to do all future recording with the higher sample rate. Do I just bounce the Flex tracks and re-import them before upscaling everything? Please advise if you have any ideas on the proper process for doing all of this. Thanks! JW
  9. Hello, So I am all of a sudden having some extremely odd issues with Logic Pro X. I've been using it for years on my system here with zero issues and now all of a sudden there's latency when I am tracking and not only that, but the recorded tracks are out of sync as well that i've just laid down. My buffer is set low as it always is when I track and there's usually no problems at all. The exact same latency I hear monitoring while recording is what's recorded! This happens with my external clock AND my internal clock. Upon suggestion I went in and changed my 'Recording Delay' slider to 0 samples but that's not helping. Does anyone have any idea what could possibly have gone wrong? I am running the latest version of Logic on my iMac using an RME interface and a Black Lion clock. Thank you for any help you can provide. This is extremely bad timing as I'm in the midst of a major project.
  10. I actually got the file to open because I noticed that it always seemed to hang up loading on a particular file. I removed those certain vocal tracks from the folder and it opened! Now I rebounced those vocal tracks in a separate session to do the Flex Pitching and now having problems with that! Had to spend an hour on Pro App tech support to figure that out above. Anyway, i Just posted a thread about that one as well....LOTS of bugs in LPX
  11. HI all, So I've gone through all the threads about Flex Pitch bugs and I've gotten all of them including odd sounds, crashing, screen jumping etc. But now I have a new problem. I imported some fresh vocal tracks with no plugins and everything time I turn on the purple Flex button on one of my tracks it shortens it as a whole and brings it's all out of sync. I turn off the Flex button and it goes back to normal in sync....turn on again out of sync...repeat repeat. This was the way I fixed my problem from last night or so I thought. The first track out of four that I tried to Flex Pitch here worked, but all the other 3 do this exact thing when I turn it on. I am using LPX on a late 2012 IMac using Mavericks and running my sessions off a Firewire 800 drive. Any ideas??? Thank you!
  12. Hi Thanks for your help last night. I actually found this link too which worked by copying and pasting the 'projectdata' file from the one of the autosave folders and replacing the one in the 000 folder and it worked! I only missed out on about 11 minutes of work now instead of hours and hours! viewtopic.php?f=1&t=102499 Thanks again JW
  13. Not sure how I can revert to an older one if I can't even open the session as it is now....hmm
  14. There are a few saved from last night's work but the only options in the folders are 'projectdata' and 'metadata'. How do I open those?
