Hi all, I dropped off the radar for awhile due to my faulty Mac and spending time concentrating on photography. I want to get back to it now and get my Mac G5 Quad either repaired or replaced. It may have a faulty porcessor... Costly so it may be a new mac... So would my mixes from Logic Pro 2.7.3 be compatible with an intel mac runing Logic Studio 9? Looking at refurbed G5 machines too.... If I do end up changing my Mac most of my virtual instruments wll no longer work either... Any other tips on my options? If it helps I am in the UK.. Superb videos and many thanks for posting these. One question I have with Logic 8 is the file organizer on the right of the arange page, how do you toggle this open and closed as the window seem a little cramped to me. Simon

On one forum that I am on someone started a thread about having sample libraries in Mp3 format to take up less space! Obviously not a Pro me thinks...

What does it say on the packaging of Hypersonic? it should say what it's requirments are.

I agree that it seems to give away the not too distant intentions by Apple...

Hi all.. By now I know my way around most things in Logic. But recently some odd has happened. When I open a midi region that I have recorded, and I select one of the tools like Quantise. the little Q appears fleetingly and dissapears. This never used ro happen and I would like it to stop happening. Anyone got any ideas.. Many thanks Simon

I have had 7.2 retail since last year... When I Bought the studio kit. I now have been running 7.2.3 since it was available and have not had any problems... Touch wood!

Have a look at Bela D media's Diva Bundle too.. I have it and it sounds fabulous. I am also planning to get the Symphony of Voices from Spectrasonics. Also check out Bela D's Giovani childrens choir..

It should be on its own firewire bus, one can be added easily to a Mac. I remember when the liquidmix was launched some had problems that were sorted by putting in another card...

Hi jope I like try again. Lots of interesting layers changing and developing nicely. Nice mix that I don't think needs to be changed, though I will come back and listen again to make sure. Thanks for sharing Simon
