  1. Thank you, Atlas007. That's a good thought, but I am set to save as folders.
  2. Am I missing something or does Consolidate work differently in LPX? In LP9 I could select audio files in the project audio window and create a group. Then when I used the Consolidate command, a new folder was made with the group name and the audio files in the group were moved into that folder. In LPX, when I use the Consolidate command, a new folder with the group name is made, but the associated audio files are not moved into the new folder. Is anyone else experiencing this? Many thanks.
  3. Bad news on this front. After removing all Giant Displays a week ago, I opened my large orchestra template today and found all the windows of 7 of my 8 screensets resized and stacked on my main computer monitor. Grrrrrrr. The only one that stayed put is a screen set without a level meter on the same screen that the movie plays on. I will remove it too and test further.
  4. Pleased to report that after 2 days of working without Giant displays, all windows in multiple screen sets are staying put. Thanks to Ski for figuring this bug out!!! I doubt I will be upgrading to Mav when it comes out as I usually stay well behind the curve on my work machines so I am not plagued with exactly these kinds of issues. Again, thanks Ski. You've saved me hours of time!!!
  5. Ski, It appears that your theory about giant smpte and/or bar display triggering this may be correct. Ran a test to tonight. Opened a new LPX file and imported screen sets from one of my templates. Unlocked all screen sets , arranged them and removed all giant displays (I had three). After rebooting several times everything seems to now be staying put. Will test again in the morning...
  6. Ski, I will test this theory on my rig tomorrow eve. Will let u know. Thank you!!!
  7. Yes. I have Giant Bar and Giant SMPTE and Giant SMPTE set to show offset (for running time). All 3 are on Led Tv monitor and all stay put just fine. None of then span multiple screens. On the tv I also have a level meter and the bottom of that window does come down onto my main screen.
  8. I have to think you're right. I think this is a multiple monitor problem. I'm running 4 monitors (3 using DVI and one LED TV attached via HDMI) but this was never an issuer with Logic 9. In L9 all my screen sets stayed put and worked flawlessly. Only when I switched to LPX did this start happening. With the ability to pop open and closed all the different editors right in the main window, it seems to me that each new version of logic is moving more and more toward single monitor and/or laptop users. While I love the convenience of this, there are many professional film composers like myself, who use very large templates with multiple screen sets to speed our demanding and often eclectic workflow. I realize we're a small minority of users, and most are probably using Logic to create songs with no more than 30 or 40 tracks, but it would be great if Apple would keep us (professional power users) in mind as they continue to develop Logic Pro. I hope we can gain some traction on this issue. I have posted it on the apple forums, which I understand the apple folks read. Those of you who are experiencing this problem - If you would, please take a sec and add to my post over there so the apple folks will know it's not a isolated issue and needs to be addressed. Here's a link. Thank you. https://discussions.apple.com/message/23287708#23287708
  9. Kramerzone, I got nothing for you, sorry. Still experiencing this issue as well. Very annoying not to mention time consuming.
  10. Atlas007 - Do you mean the display options inside Logic, or the System Prefs Display options?
  11. mrmeoff, still happening, or did you find a solution?
  12. Still experiencing this problem which is very annoying and time consuming as I have 7 different window sets I use and have to reset them each time I open a file. Anyone else still having this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks.
  13. When I double click a transformer that is inside a macro I created to make a change to it's parameters, it's window appears for a split second then disappears completely. The only way I can change the transformer's parameters is to unpack the macro and re-pack it. Big pain. Anyone else verify this bug? In LP9 this worked fine.
