@David Nahmani yes of course, downmixing the surround project to a stereo audio file, reimporting that to a new project along with your movie, and exporting your movie with that stereo track does work ! ... but it isn't the quickest way and not very user friendly 😉

Hi, I can't successfully bounce a surround stereo down mix to movie with Logic I only get a silent movie I'm using the Down mixer plugin on the master I'm able to bounce the stereo down mix to a file, but for a movie, I'm stuck... Any leads?

Hi Have issue in 10.8 on multi output instruments with Aux send level when selecting the instrument track & it's extra outputs at the same time. This is 10.7.9 behaviour : 10.7.9=Normal.mov 10.8 issue 10.8 ISSUE.mov Send level isn't linked on selection. But changing bus to post fader or post pan is still linked in 10.8 This is a no way for me, back to 10.7.9

Thanks @Dewdman42 for your EventChaser script, no more issue with CC when changing articulation from a note after recording with a multi channel articulation set !!!! Once inserted everything works as it should instantly !!!!! YOU ARE A GENIUS 🙂

It does works great without any Logic script or complicated extension, you will just need Open Stage Control (it is a libre application !). The setup operation is a one time process, and isn't so complex It will work on your iPad, phone, Android Tablet, Touch Screen, your screen computer, etc...

Dear all, I’m a long time Logic user working with a big orchestral template. I’ve never liked the “one track, one articulation” way of work. In my template, I’m using the Articulation system from Logic and it suits well my workflow : one instrument track with all its articulations. With this system, my complain was that for each track, the default Articulation is the first one in the list (Eg : for my template : mostly “Long”) But what if want to record some Pizz or staccato, it’s a problem. I can change the Articulation using the menu on the top of the instrument plugin window before recording or I can use Smart Controls Keyswitches window (ugly and limited to only24 articulations). This isn’t the greatest or fastest solution for my workflow… I’ve always wanted some physical faders to be able to control dynamic, intensity or vibrato for my libraries. I’ve never found something simple suiting my needs and as a result I’ve builded the Nuances controller I needed something simple to be able to deal with all my articulations in Logic. My goal was to use the lightest and purest solution without any scripting in Logic or any port routing and also I don’t want any additional software. I needed something working directly with all the songs I’ve already created from my template without any modification. The result is : Articulations Of course, it is free ! If my way of working looks like yours, it might be a great upgrade to your workflow. I think that it is a missing feature, at least with 7.1.2 In 7.1.4 the dolby atmos plugin does the down mix I will report this to Apple

Hi, With latest version(10.7.5), I'm unable to get a 7.1.2 downmixer, I'm just able to insert a down mixer plugin on the master for songs up to 7.1. No down mixer option for 7.1.2 (I'm not using Dolby Atmos on this 7.1.2 song) Is it normal?

Sorry for the delay I was really busy upgrading and calibrating my studio from 5.1 to 7.1.4 atmos ! it seems that your trick does it ! I’ve used an other output for stereo and also remove all the input setting. no more dangerous noise …for now😇 cheers

I'm currently working in 5.1 surround (logic X.7.4/Monterey/MacPro 2013) I have this issue as soon as I/O plug-in (stereo version) is used, then if I use the Surround panner, all my 5.1 outputs are going FULL SCALE (I then bless my hardware mute button !!!!!) The only way to stop this is to quit Logic. This bug essentially happen when the surround angle is going from +179 to -180 while moving the angle point with your mouse with an I/O plug in your session I love to use my hardware, and this bug gives me nuts ! Linked picture is level of all my 5.1 outputs when this bug starts viewed from RME total mix The weird thing is that LFE is also full scale, but the surround panner used to produce the bug wasn't set up to send anything to LFE... It seems that this bug is only present if you assign logic to open on anything but the desktop 1 via your dock. I'm using spaces and my setup is as follow : Main display (4 spaces) desktop 1 : different apps, web browsing, emails... desktop 2 : Logic (music composing) desktop 3 : Vienna ensemble Pro (samples) desktop 4 : Protools (stems and videos) Second display (1 space): full screen video via logic(for shorts projects) or via protools (for features or shows)

Hi, I've upgraded to logic 10.7 and Big Sur (from Logic 10.6.lastest/ Catalina) on my Mac Pro 2013 with 2 monitors. I'm using the 2nd monitor to display video on full screen. Since 10.7/Big Sur when reopening project the video open on full screen on the main monitor, not on the TV. It was a bug on earlier version of logic, but it was corrected on logic 10.6.something. Did 10.7.0 with Big Sur reintroduce this annoying bug? Thanks for your help
