  1. This is still happening to me intermittently
  2. Leave this with me for now, I'll see how this new project holds up. Current project has only done it once so far, I hit panic mode and posted too early. The last one was extreme but there were component cache cleans and installs that bugged it out, I wanted to wait until a new project to make sure what's happening.
  3. OK, I had another look around but didn't find anything specific other than a single corrupt project. Current setup, SSD format APFS
  4. Nearly every single time I open a project on Logic 10.5.1, the entire projects audio waveform' need to be re-analyzed. Logic starts the saved projects showing no waveforms and Logic loads them all again.. Is there something I can do to remedy?

    Environment

I've got an external instrument that I've made an environment layer for that can modulate a CC for the externals ARP because Randomizer can't do this. I put the transformer chain between my physical input and Input notes. The CC modulation works fine when I'm on the External Instruments channel, but I want to achieve the same CC modulation on another channel. The External Instrument is the midi controller with an Arp/Seq (Moog Grandmother) and I want to be able to modulate a CC on the Grandmother on a different channel to the external instrument. The screenshot is an example of what I've been doing
  6. Thank you David, so many people appreciate all the support from you and everyone contributing on here. Humbled
  7. Inside a MIDI region, am I able to join only overlapping notes inside a (highlighted) sequence? I don't see a way I can do it within the editor and don't think it's possible to highlight the entire sequence and perform this task. Thanks, I hope you're all well
  8. Thanks for your help Valli, I ended up figuring the signal path out. Latest Grandmother firmware update has cc 106 Logic just became a whole lot more useful
  9. ok, I need the sum to perform that.... wow that took me a long time to wrap my head around
  10. Why does this already start to smell just like the problem with Randomizer not being able to send random trigger CC to an External instrument? Surely it's just me and the signal flow...
  11. The sum is happy to run through that chain with the random pan
  12. This is the limit of my ability, I can't see why I can't loop the random CC back into the channel strip
