  1. Hi, Having this problem for quite some time now. When I bounce especially to 16 bit and mp3 Logic goes beyond the boundaries of the loop set. I even have the problem when I "bounce in place" ( 24 bit ). This results in files that are longer than they supposed to be. It's a very annoying problem. Anybody have this same issue ? I'm on Logic 10.4.8 on Mac OS 10.13.6 Thnx, Pete
  2. That's a very good starting point ! Thnx for the advice. I'll try it out !
  3. Hello, In the song "Faded", by Alan Walker there this long beautiful reverb. Anybody know what plug-in this is ? Thanks, Pete
  4. Hello, Sometimes, when I want to apply time compression in the sample editor it says "audio file locked". Even when I select the audio file ( select all ) in the sample editor it does not want to complete the time compression. Also sometimes the function is greyed out. Sometimes when I close the session and open it again I can apply the time compression, there does not seem to be a "Logic" when I can or can't apply the function. Am I doing something wrong ? How can I unlock the audio file ? Or is this a bug ? Didnt have this problem in Logic 9. Thanks for your hints and answers ! Pete
  5. There's nothing really special going on when it happens, but it is allways with arpeggiator stuff, also had it with Zebra.
  6. Hello, I downloaded 10.2.2, so I have the latest version. Sometimes sequenced parts go out of tune, not right away in the session, but after working some time in a session. I've had this issue with a sequenced part of Sylenth, but also with Alchemy, which is part of the Logic package. What should I do, Anybody alse have this problem ? Thnx, Peter
  7. So the best thing would be to run Logic X on Mavericks, right and just take the latest versions of both ? You can downgrade from Yosemite to Mavericks. Going back to Mountain Lion isn't an option either. I tried to buy Logic X yesterday in the Apple store and it said minimum requirement is Mavericks. Seems a lot of people are looking for the right Logic X - OS combi.
  8. Hello, I was wondering what your experiences are with PCIe ssd's ? I'm thinking about installing 2 ssd's on a pcie card, one for the OS, one for the samples and sessions. How are your experiences with this set-up as far as reliability, stability with Logic X, combination with regular hard discs in the slots and other cards, eg. Universal audio, all running in a 64 bit environment on Mountain lion. I know it's a lot of stuff together, I just want to know if people are using any ( or all ) of these combinations and what the experiences are. Any thoughts are welcome. Thnx, Peter
  9. Hello, The only use I have for Nectar right now is the Harmony module, which is very nice, all the other stuff I do with the Logic plugs or other plugs. You might also try out the pitch correction and the effects, which can be usefull.
  10. Thanks for the replies up untill now ! As I see it, a lot of different factors come into play in how stable a system is. I will go on with my current set-up ( snow leopard and Logic 9 ) and install the other computer untill it's really ready to go. Starting with mountain lion, Logic X on 64 bit with a few ssd drives, then also install the 3rd party plugs one by one and see how it goes.
  11. Hello Bonebones and Efiebke, Thanks for your replies. What computer are you on bonebones ? Efiebke. You are working in 32 bit, doing a lot of streaming from your SSD's right ? I hadn't thought of that possibility. P.
  12. Thnx for your reaction. Also I see a lot of people still working with Logic 9 ( just like me ) Should I go Logic 9 on mountain lion 64 bit or Logic X on mountain Lion 64 bit ? I want to go 64 bit to be able to run more of the heavier plugs like omnisphere, BFD or east west plugs more easily. Thanks for your response. P.
  13. Hello, I want to upgrade my set-up, so I can work in 64 bit. I bought a 2010 2.8 Ghz Mac Pro. I was thinking about installing Mountain lion and Logic X latest version, is that a good combi ? I keep hearing that Logic X is not stable especially not with the newer Mac os like Mavericks and Yosemite. So what combi would be the most stable set-up on that 2010 computer ? Thnx for sharing your thoughts; Peter
