  1. Thanks David - I found an old old Logic 9 that will import so that's a start - orrrrrr I might bite bullet and reset my brain to use LPX defaults.
  2. I used this command and yet it reset all key commands to defaults. How can I find and restore my own key commands? thanks - dave
  3. BTW I just re-calibrated the send to max out at 0 db (instead of the +6 default) and the jitter seems to have left - THINK I MIGHT BE THER!~!! - thanks, dave
  4. Thanks, I --- have it working - - - but there's a hitch - the presonus (yup I know we are not a presonus forum but their fader is popular) - the motorized fader has some jitter in it, like something from LPX is fighting it. I do however have it running volume AND send 1 (reverb) inversely! headway. Any clue on the 'fighting' symptom? Dave
  5. Hi, to create a smart control on an audio track without adding a plugin has me fuddled. can you walk me thru that? thanks, dave
  6. SMART CONTROLS Q. Hi Eric, can you send a link for a post that can specifically answer this q. - I am using a faderport to automate volume in real time: I want to use that input device to increase send 1 (reverb) as I decrease volume. Appreciated. Dave
  7. Subject line says it. Searched but did not find this specific question asked. Thx, Dave
  8. I will try it by selecting multiple tracks (new for my workflow!) and confirm results. Thx, dave
  9. Ya, however, 'selected track' is the downside...i am still going track by track, and it's laborious when there's 50 or more. Thx.
  10. Great, i'll act on my assumption and see if this tidies up my main window. Cheers, dave
  11. Hi Eric, I'll check. Assume that a chan strip with no regions but with (old) automation is not treated as 'unused'. Is there a 'delete all orphan automation' type command so those tracks can be cleared for deletion? Cheers, dave
  12. Hi, the command sort tracks by | used, unused works, (all tracks with no regions go to the bottom of the main window) which would indicate LPX is detecting the unused tracks. But the command I need, 'Delete unused tracks' not working. Any suggestions appreciated! thanks, Dave
  13. Hi, thanks! The midi panic command is probably what I need. Dave
