  1. My tune starts with a 16 bar phrase (A) which repeats once before moving on to section B. The guy who will be playing it has asked me to edit the score to replace bars 17-32 with the sign to repeat from the beginning. The only way I know how to do this is by making an alternative version and chopping out bars 17 - 32 and putting sign to repeat. Can someone tell me how I then change the new bar 17 to 33? Thanks.
  2. Thank you again. Easy when you know how.
  3. I'd like to have a large bold font for my song title and a smaller version for composer's name and credits, date etc. in the Header. Can I set new Styles for these or do I have to use an existing one that I'm unlikely to use e.g. Tablature and adjust that? Also, is there a way to automatically add the time signature and title? I'm pretty sure these were there before I started messing about.
  4. This is so helpful. Thanks from the future
  5. I found the phrase Volta Brackets on a web site listing orchestral symbols incuding those used by the old masters. No other site I found applied a nomenclature it just seemed better than saying, 'you know the sort of thing: those lines with a number which means first time through etc". Of the two procedures that volovicg helpfully shows, I found using the signature editor the easiest. As you can set the start and finish points by bar, beat, division, click etc. I'd have thought that was the way to insert them off the downbeat (?).
  6. To make the score shorter/more efficient, I've set up an alternative project so I can cut out repeated sections and use symbols. For repeated sections that have alternative endings I need to use volta brackets to cover 24 bars but can't find how to stretch one over two or three staffs. Any ideas please?
  7. Postscript - ah! watching fuzzfilth's lovely vid I see that Fader and Control ARE in the Status column. They weren't on mine because I needed to expand the box sideways.
  8. Thank you. It's now gone (on both tracks) following stratquebec's image (cheers). When I first tried it I didn't know what you meant by a Volume Element. Clicking on the word Volume in the Length/Info column did nothing. I don't see anything saying Fader Volume event or Control Volume - is that the Status column with an F and an indecipherable icon in it? I know nothing of CC7 commands and didn't enter any markings intentionally but will look at fuzzfilth's footage carefully - thanks. I don't think I entered any notes in Score Editor direct. Thanks again for your help - really appreciated.
  9. That has removed my volume changes but the rogue line is still there and the volume still changes with it.
  10. This morning I used the region expansion facility to double the tempo from 90 to 180 and the region to simplify the score. I can't see why that would affect the volume but I notice the big drop off is where the track used to end.
  11. Yes, I always save as a Folder but it was because I had the project open. As soon as I closed it, it completed and I've now attached it as an edit to my earlier reply (please see above) - Lemon & Lime.logicx.zip
  12. Thanks David - I can't believe how long it's taking to compress.
  13. Sure - Do you mean the .logicx file? - I can't attach it. When I select Attachments and select it in Finder, it won't let me attach it. It's not a locked file but 'Open' is greyed out. I've tried dragging it into this message but I get an error message that it's not a valid file extension. Trying again. Lemon & Lime.logicx.zip
