  1. i turned off the sustained notes. That works so far... Thank you! Now I will have to freeze the midiregions
  2. Also other piano's of NI have pedal issues, and a spitfire piano also. So maybe it is a kontakt issue?
  3. Hi I had this multiple times over the years, with piano's. When I have e.g. The Giant (piano by NI) inserted on a miditrack, and play something, I hear a build-up of all the notes played when I set the playhead somewhere in the middle. I can imagine it has to do with the sustain pedal. It seems as if all the sound that built up during the playing suddely is released very quickly when you press the playbar. It gets louder when you do that more to the end. When I put the playhead to where I released the pedal when I was recording, that does not happen until after a while when things have built up again. Is this kind of clear? Anyone with similar problems?
  4. Hi there, I am using a logitech mouse, and I was wondering if there is a way to increase the horizontal scrollspeed of the area you are looking at. So not move the playhead. . if you move the scrollwheel up or down while holding down shift, it scrolls horizontally. Hurray, but it is veeeeeery slow. And thus unusable. Any idea how to change that, or is there another way to change the focus to the left or to the right?
  5. By the way, it is sonically a better option to pitch audioregions with the transpose function in the regioninfo in the inspector. Specifically polyphonic stuff.
  6. Well some projects do not upload at all (in Stack) or partially (GoogleDrive). And the only thing that is exactly the most$&@+% up property a backup system can possibly have is that it backed up all your stuff- except some 10 percent random files and folders. Without which you cannot do anything. @fisherking: I do not backup the plugins. @Skijumptoes: Stack just has to copy the files and folders (Goodmorning files and folders! - Goodmorning teacher) to the cloud. @Ploki: I hoped that iCloud would be accepted by timemachine as a drive because it is both Apple, but on the web everyone says no. But maybe i should try with a few little projects.
  7. I have a Focusrite Saffire pro10 which served me well for the last 8 years or so. I had to replace the powersupply once. Now I just went for the Clarett 8preX. On thunderbolt, on a new macmini. Works great! So I guess any of those claretts will be of the same caliber
  8. Hi there, For a while I am struggling with cloud services like Dropbox and Stack to try to store my logicprojects (I have not tried GoogleDrive yet). But somehow they do not sync everything, and some files are not recognized so they cannot be synced anyway. I save my projects as folders, not as a package because I want to see what is there without a hassle. I realize that that could take away some problems, but maybe one of you knows how to sync a lot of files and folders properly. Maybe the old way with backups from a portable drive (preferably SSD) remains the best way... Another thing I tried is let Stack be a NAS and let timemachine backup to the cloud. But it doesn't. I want to store it in a cloud to be able to mirror my studioprojects at home to work further there. And vice versa. Thx for your thoughts! Pepijn
  9. I do. Still. After years and years. Thousands of regions and tracks imported, all L and R. Annoying. Of course you can bounce the L and R tracks as one, but that creates one file. I want to retain the region structure. So still no solution for now
  10. Thx triplets. I tried, but did not have any effect. Only quitting Logic helps. I think it is a bug. But nearly no one is experiencing it so it seems. Or nobody knows about the plug. If anybody uses a pitch shifter, they use logic's Pitch Shifter. But AU Pitch is a real good one too.
  11. I have exactly the same problem here. Did you find a solution already?
  12. Actually I have the same issue when I want to freeze a lightweight project of 1 minute or less, but somehow the project end is set to 15 minutes or more. This takes a LONG LONG time to wait. Any suggestions?
  13. Hi there, I will have to buy a new computer in the next weeks. I worked with a quadcore macmini for 7 years without problems now, but troubles are piling up a bit. Especially when it comes down to video. It only works well if I put the video on the systemdrive. External 7200 drives USB2 do not work, be it the same one the project is on, or a dedicated video drive. It stutters and crackles. So when I buy a new one, I am hesitating if a ssd is worth the money? Or is fusiondrive as good or even better? I wonder why they use 5400 for fusiondrive by the way.... So how are your experiences with fusiondrive? And should the video run on that ssd? I don't want to do that manually each time for a project and then delete the video at the end of the project because otherwise the ssd is full in no time. Or do you do it in a completely other way? Tell me, I love to learn. Pepijn
  14. So if I would trash a file with that info, it would build a new set right? Only if I knew which file...
