  1. ??? I know where the button is and how to modify the toolbar. What I can't find is a command that allows you incrementally cycle through that specific button ON the toolbar. On pro tools, you hold down Opt + Cmd, then repeatedly tap your - + keys to nudge the value from /4 to /8 to /16 to /32 and so on. Logic seems to want you to dedicate key commands to each specific nudge value. Apple may think its cool, I think its ridiculous.
  2. Thanks blink. That's what I did. And its close enough for now I guess. The problem is that you can't go lower than /4...so your -/+ region nudge will max out at one fourth of a measure. I'm re-vamping the entire keyboard to mimc the PT qwerty in focus mode. So I set the m , . / keys to nudge in larger values by attaching them to other commands lol. It aint perfect, but at least I'll know roughly where s#!+ is at. Appreciate the thoughts
  3. Yeah, but I hate having to reach with a mouse to grab it. lol.
  4. Good question Film scoring, ADR, scene spotting, anamatics, and exporting master edit lists to Final Cut guys.
  5. Really? This is lame. I see the "Open Big SMPTE Window" in the triangle to the right of the lcd window. I need to assign it to 'Cmd + numberpad 3'.
  6. I'm not seeing anything close...which button were you referring to?
  7. I need some work around for the 'D' and 'G' key commands in Protools. Fade region start to playhead, fade region end from playhead. I'm aware of the fade length in the inspector, I need a FASTER way to do this. I'm also aware of the key command to apply last fade. Does anyone know of a BETTER way of doing this???????
  8. I found it... Set Region/Event/Marquee Start/End to Playhead Position. Weird name for that command ...you'd think 'trim region start' would be more intuitive.
  9. Looking for an assignable function that will trim the starts and ends of regions at the playhead like the 'a' and 's' keys do in Pro Tools. Thanks
  10. I see a million separate key commands to set specific nudge values. Is there one key command or a work around that will cycle nudge values as the + and - num keys do in Protools?
  11. Dude!!! I remember that from logic 9. Where the hell is it in X? It doesn't give you a checkbox or a progress bar. I selected all the files on the hard drive location. Then I dropped them strait into the arrange window. It immediately created a bunch of un-rendered regions, then slowly started from the top and started inching along. I have tried importing them (drag and drop) to the bin first. Same result. Is there another place 'faster overviews' could he hidden or disabled or activated?
  12. Reinstalled Logic 10.2.2 on a brand new pci-e flash SSD. Running current version of El Capitan. When I import audio files at 48k/24bit, logic is now taking FOREVER to draw the waveforms. I used to be able to check a box that told it to do it faster, but that box is gone. How do I make it fast again like it was?
