  1. I use an MPC too. You can get that feel in Logic it just takes more work. I do one or more of the following: 1) Use Ultrabeat to program patterns. 2) Import and start using MPC templates. 3) Get yourself an Akai MPD32. It has "Note Repeat" so you can program snare rolls and Hi Hats like an MPC. Like syncsailo said, head over to Gearslutz.com for Hip Hop oriented questions. Good Luck
  2. Track Import is one of the best features of LP 9. I also heavily make use of Drum Replacement and Track notes.
  3. Good stuff thanks David. This works great with the Kensington Trackball
  4. Good Job Apple. I like this update. They addressed things that really mattered instead of adding a bunch of crap that really does not help productivity/work flow. Sample accurate editing in the main window. Simplified Windows/GUI. Apple + Apogee = Bliss
  5. Your question does not mention which type of Akai device you are trying to sync. Regardless, mpc-forums.com is where you need to go for your answer. That is where I got the info needed to sync my MPC2500 with Logic Pro via MTC.
