  1. Hi guys, I thought I might ask for some pro help on this one as I am struggling. I have set up a multitrack ultrabeat with various different channels for the different drum parts (snare, hihat etc) as a means of speeding up my workflow. However when I wish to convert the ultrabeat midi to audio the audio has no sound! I have routed some of the drums to a filter bus instead of output 1-2 but is that the problem? Either way any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
  2. Ah ok thanks thats great but is there any way of making the preset my default setting so I don't have to load it every time I open a project?
  3. Hi I want my key commands to be remembered when I use Logic but it seems every time I restart Logic the program forgets them although I have changed the commands. What am I doing wrong??
  4. Hi guys I'm relatively new to the forum and trying to improve my workflow. I am using logic 8 and so I don't have flex time etc. My question is can I adjust midi region length in a faster manner then by using the [adjust region length to locators] or [the piano roll] parameters. I'd appreciate any input even if I there is no other way
  5. Hi it worked finally after going through the stages. Thanks so much for your help
  6. Thanks for the quick reply You were right even with the modulator bypassed and the cable switcher heading straight into the monitor/sequencer input there is no sound??? The reason I have that routing is because I am rewiring midi sequences using the Five12 program numerology via the transformers in the picture. The actual video of the process is here. http://www.digimixstudios.net/Numerology2Logic8Setup/
  7. Hi Y'all. A fairly specific question. I want to do some IAC rewired midi sequencing and also have a scales template that I can switch between. I have made a rough and ready set up but my there is no sound (the monitor indicates there should be) when I am routed to my 0 cable switch option even with channel strips other then those in the picture. Is there a simple solution to this mess? I am fairly new to logic's environment so any help would be appreciated... I might also add that this forum is a godsend for people like me OPTION 1 WITH SOUND MIDI 1 OPTION 0 NO SOUND MIDI 1
  8. Thanks Guys for being really helpful. You are probably right I will start a new thread specifically for the question I have
  9. Thanks for all your help I have a cunning plan but I need some help. 1st How do I import channel strips into an environment layer? 2nd Can I get a cable switcher that allows cable switching from right to left as opposed to its current ability?
  10. I think it might have something to do with the routing I have three transformers for 3 midi channels and a monitor leading to sequencer input. It could be that it somehow meddles with the remapper and even when I get rid of my numerology cabling and put the sum in sequencer input the remapper still doesn't function. I just want to add that I really love the remapper it makes those difficult scales easy and helps with calculating chords/intervals.
  11. Yeah this isn't a shameless plug but I highly recommend numerology especially with outboard stuff it works a treat and covers those creative sequencing nooks that logic kind of misses out on
  12. Thanks so much thats done the trick in terms of now I can play on my keyboard in logic and sequence but it seems that the scale remapper stops working due to my rewire
