The size shouldn't be a problem if you choose "Fit To Screen" in the "Desktop & Screen Saver" preference pane. Next to that, you can choose the color of the remaining desktop area as well.

There may very well already be something like this posted, but I had an OCD binge and decided to create a desktop background that I can use for quick reference to the Logic Pro keyboard shortcuts. There's tons of keyboard covers like this, but I just wanted / needed a background for my laptop screen that I can refer to with expose once in a while.
