  1. Gave this a pretty hypnotic and tribal groove. Still cranking away in Logic 9.1.8! 98% of plugs are UAD the rest Slate and Waves. Please have a listen! [soundcloud] [/soundcloud]
  2. Thanks guys! Appreciate the listen and comments!
  3. Hey all LP users- please check out my remix of this Basement Jaxx track and let me know how it sounds. All production and mixing done in LP 9.1.8. Thanks! [soundcloud] [/soundcloud]
  4. Please have a listen to this. Mixed ITB in Logic. Any feedback welcome. The artist is Wesley Morgan, "Flesh and Bone". [soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/bugscoe/wesley-morgan-flesh-and-bone[/soundcloud]
  5. Here is a remix I did for the Calvin Harris (feat. Ne-Yo) "Let's Go" song. All done in Logic. [soundcloud] [/soundcloud]
  6. Nice job. Not sure what feedback you're looking for but I'll comment on the mix. Kick feels a little soft. I would also pay attention to the use of all the stereo elements you seem to have ongoing. It feels a little empty in the middle of the stereo field. Good work!
  7. Having similar issues with 9.1.7. This current project I'm working on is giving me some issues. I have about 9-10 instances of Massive going and using 1-2 of Melodyne, and I've got about 65 tracks up- I'm in writing mode at the moment with only 8 bars of tracks spread out in the Arrange window. It's crashing quite frequently and sometimes when I go to save I get a message that says the project can't be saved. Opened this same project up in 9.1.6 and have not had one crash or save problem. Staying in 6 for now.
  8. Given all the hype and anticipation this release is either going to totally disappoint or totally blow people away.
  9. Sounds great. Who mixed this, Blaze, Andrew or you? Doesn't Blaze have a SSL in his studio, how did this end up getting mixed down just in Logic?
  10. Good to hear, thanks for checking it out!
  11. Nice job. The lows sound pretty decent but the low mids and mids feel a little thinned out on my Genelec's. Lead vox sounds a little dry for me but that is a taste thing.
  12. Thanks for the feedback! I agree on the song, I personally loved it which always makes mixing way more pleasurable.
  13. Where does one go to hear your music/mixes? http://snd.sc/x3KKLX (It's been posted in the Listening Booth forum) Just a bunch of my bullshit stuff that has nothing to do with 'letting you know how it translates in the real world.' The song sounds like a cross between Yes and Gilbert O'Sullivan. However, it sounds the same to me on the macbook speakers, Event Speakers, and AKG 702 headphones. A bit muddy and too much reverb (for my taste). I mean it sounds good and I like the song - so don't get me wrong. It just sounds like it needs a few frequencies cleaned up and back off the reverb a bit (is your reverb covering the entire spectrum?) BTW, which UAD's are you using? What do you think of them? Thanks for sharing the link. Listening to others work upon receiving constructive criticism is, at least for me, a good way to get reference point on the feedback. I mix on a pair of Genelec 1032's, NS10's and Auratones all surrounded by a ASC Attack Wall. The Attack Wall is by far the best investment I've made in 'gear'. The UAD plugs are fantastic! I purchased the Quad Flexi which came with the Classic Comp bundle and in addition I picked up the Fatso, LA3A, 140 and 224 verbs and the Precision Max. Good stuff.
  14. Thanks for the feedback. What you're thinking is reverb at 1:34 is not, it's actually a keyboard part. As far as the guitars go, there were 7 different guitar DI sources and an Ebow part all recorded with room mics as well. Lots of ambient sounds in this recording.
