Hey David -- so I'm trying to open this session again and still it wont opening even after following all of Izotopes instructions which were as follows:
I'd be happy to help here. After installing please be sure to rescan by following these steps:
— Open the “Plug-in Manager” from within the Preferences menu.
— Type in the search box. If applicable, please ensure your iLok is plugged in securely.
— Select the plugins that fail validation by holding the Command key (⌘) and clicking each plug-in.
— Once the plugins are selected, click “Reset & Rescan Selection” and wait for the validation to complete. This could take several minutes.
— Once validation is completed, open a plugin to verify it is working properly on your system.
If the issue persists, please follow these steps to reset Logic’s plug-in cache:
1) In the Finder press and hold the Option key and choose Go > Library. (The Library option will only appear while holding the Option key)
2) In the Finder window go into ~Library/Caches/AudioUnitCache.
3) Move the files from AudioUnitCache folder to the Desktop.
4) Restart the computer, then open Logic Pro X. All installed Audio Unit plug-ins will be rescanned.
I also wanted to try your method but the Components folder is totally empty...
Any suggestions?
