  1. Thank you Dave! You're Welcome Eric
  2. Trusty old iPad1 is not liking the new site as much as the old one. Safari crashes changing rotation. Portrait is best now. Struggles more in Landscape. If the thread has a lot of attachments, i’ve gotta be patient wile the page loads. Not sure if anything can be done to improve the experience? I Still use the iPad1, a lot, but I see it struggle more and with the newer technology. It still does amazing with many other tasks. Logging in now keeps you on the open page instead of defaulting to Board index, nice 8) Edit: 8) Edit2: Moving and rotating the iPad1 is ok sometimes but not others. The iPad is browsing fine if not Rotated and left in one view. Landscape the site reads beautifully. Portrait, text smaller, zooming in balances to read post, the signature text blends well in, leaving the topic post easy to read, very nice
  3. ... and by the way everybody, please join me in saying big thanks to Eric Cardenas for helping out with the new website too! From initial concept to final CSS and Javascript tweaks, Eric has been quite incredible. Thanks Eric! +1 My favourite Eric quote on the forum "The manual is wrong"... Thanks Eric, you're a gem
  4. The signature text looks fine, its content is so vital to the majority of posts it should be visible. I agree that the Avatar is smallish, but much larger and is could be distracting from the main text in the post.
  5. All good with LpX 10.2.4. Spotlight is still having problems with searches for last opened date, it's not long since a clean install of OSX, it didn't help. Console fills quickly with spotlight search errors. It doesn't seem to bother logic, it's running sweet.
  6. Beautiful work guys, Thanks! Pleasure to read. Really like the Topic Author feature 8)
  7. This is a great app, I use it on OSX and iOS. Band in a Box used here many years ago. I like iRealPro better and once you get a flow going you can type in chord progressions quickly, especially on the OSX version. http://irealpro.com
  8. You could use spotlight and filter (created date) exactly. Or filter Name. Once you find the file and select it in the finder window ( Cmd+R ) will open a new window where the file is located. Strange though, logic usually saves audio in a folder named Audio in the project file.
  9. Thanks des99, it certainly seems to be something along those lines. For now, Focus to the Dock is working fine.
  10. After backing up I deleted Logic Caches and Preferences then rebooted. It seems to have worked here. I haven't seen the Gui glitch since. Maybe the Logic upgrade corrupted something? Logic is opening and performing better. I had a full days session on Logic yesterday, all good. I know the error is slightly different to yours but thought it might be an option worth thinking about.
  11. Thanks for a great read guys. Very nice HowTo stardustmedia, much appreciated 8)
  12. Thanks Guys, Very nice info, much appreciated Fn+Ctrl+F2 Focus to Menu … Shift+Cmd+/ … Show Help Menu are still not working with Logic. (Other Apps are Ok!) Fn+Ctrl+F3 Focus to Dock is… and it works a treat, no mouse required 8) Arnaud Logic is running very well, even a minor Gui glitch seems gone. I’ve done a lot today while setting up the Preferences and Logic is a lot better for the ReSet. I’ll keep an eye on the Menu, very strange.
  13. Today I deleted LpX Caches and Preferences. ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic10.plist I noticed the two files below but didn’t delete them. I’m not sure what they files are for ? com.apple.logic.pro.cs com.apple.logic10.LSSharedFileList Before doing so I took snapshots of my preferences then zipped up the preference file, Caches, and moved the zips to a backup disk. Exported my Key Commands. Shut down and restarted the Mac. Opened Logic and was greeted by the what’s new in LpX 10.2.3. I was a bit surprised to see my Audio Device was already configured ? Before importing my custom key commands i tried Fn+Ctrl+F2 but it still didn’t move focus to the menu bar. Then a discovery, it does work with a project open. Even after importing my custom key commands. This still leaves me with the problem of browsing to the File Open Recent menu without a project open ?
  14. Very strange. Every other application i've tried works fine with the default Fn+Ctrl+F2 shortcut... Logic doesn't. Searching Logic key commands shows nothing is using those keys. I've just tried changing the shortcut command after browsing and finding others with similar problems related to the F2 key. still nothing. Edit: MainStage and Garageband are both working fine.
  15. Opening Logic here is usually quite fast and smooth. However, occasionally it can be very slow. It takes a long time before i see the logic splash screen. Once logic is open it runs smooth, in fact it's performing well. Very strange how this GUI glitch only happens sometimes. Like yourself i've looked into this, my mac is tweaked and running beautifully. I didn't have this behaviour in 10.2.2 it started with the 10.2.3 update. Try opening Console first, make sure "All Messages" is selected in the left panel, then hit the Clear Display icon. Then open Logic and perform the task that is giving you problems. Close Logic. This may give you some clues as to what's going on, You can use the output of Console to search for help and fill out a bug report to apple.
