  1. Just to let you know: with updating to High Sierra this problem finally disappeared from my set up...hoorray!
  2. Hi Monobeat, thanks for your input. What do you mean by "knocked out"? thought this was taken care of by the au validation > if the plug doesn't pass the au validation it doesn't load anymore. How did Apple Support tell you to erase them? just take the plug out of the components folder or straight to trash?
  3. yes i agree. And by the way: i tried many codecs and formats (including those in this thread) and it doesn't make a difference, the problem persists. So your mp4 is probably fine. Only thing that helps me is to NOT close the movie file in Logic even if i don't use it, which is easier when you have two screens.
  4. I'm sorry Tad Manzie, tried all your suggestions but none of it helped. It's weird we use the same system and Logic Version, altough your mac is older than mine ... maybe it's a bug with the newer Macs?
  5. Thank you for your suggestion, i tried it with Quicktime 7 but it doesn't solve the problem. Pro Res 422 or Pro Res Proxy makes a H264 (AVC Coding) quicktime file bigger not smaller. All the diffrent codecs i've tried haven't helped anything...
  6. I have the same problem along with other filmmusic pros i know. It is really anoying reloading the quicktime again and again. Wonder why this isn't fixed yet. Any news on a work around?
  7. I have this exact same problem like stated at beginning since many updates and in all of my projects. The skiping happens mainly on MIDI tracks. Anyone can help on this? Currently using Logic Pro 10.1.1. Thanks!
  8. @ David: thanks for your answer, i agree it seems to be an m-audio problem. I have contacted M-Audio in their forum but they just don't seem to take the problem seriously enough. And the problem seems to be difficult to reproduce in other set ups. Here is the link: http://forums.m-audio.com/showthread.php?25225-Oxygen-88 . After a reset it works fine for approx. another 2 hours maybe.
  9. Thanks Jordito! But i tried both and it didn't help. After a couple of hours the keyboard freaked out on me again.
  10. Hello, I have problems with my controller Oxygen 88. After about 3 or 4 houres of usage with logic, my M-audio Oxygen 88 all of the sudden starts to spit out random notes and with large latency. Only if I restart the keyboard it will work properly again, but the problem returns quickly. I've written in the M-audio forum and nobody knows how to fix the problem. Does anyone here have similar problems? Could it be a Logic or Apple OS Problem? Can anyone pleaze help? I use OSX 10.6.5 with Logic 9 (32-bit) Many thanks
