  1. The key command for Step 3 turned out to not be "cmd click", but rather "option click". so close, yet so far away
  2. If it translates well to every mixing environment, why would it not be the best mix?
  3. I'm clicking right here as per step 3, is that the right place to cmd click?
  4. ok so I tried opening two new instances of FM8, and did the process again. when I paste the automation, it pastes for the same parameter, regardless if I have a different parameter's lane open.
  5. 1. shift click to highlight region I want to copy 2. cmd C 3. click on track I want to paste automation 4. cmd V Before I was getting that message. Now nothing happens--no message, nothing.
  6. Sorry Alex, but you're doing something wrong, I'm not sure what. Try again! If you still get that, please post a screenshot. attached....happens when I press command V
  7. Now when I paste to the second track, it asks if I want to copy automation data.
  8. When I paste the automation, it pastes for the same parameter, not the automation I have selected. Also, where is the Automation Menu with a "convert" button? Thanks.
  9. I want to copy the automation from a parameter of one track to a completely different parameter of another track. How do I do that please?
  10. sorry David, here it is: So wait, shortening an audio clip tightens up the transients? How's that?
  11. What key command does the guy use at 4:47 of this vid? He brings up a downsized event list and seems to move a transient to shift the audio track back into the beat. Never knew about this feature...
  12. ALL loops can be transposed to any key. It is impossible for me to say how well they match harmonically in your case, since I don't know what they sound like. Well I asked because D# major and C minor have the same notes in their respective scales, so wouldn't they technically match harmonically?
