  1. Unfortunately not. I have tried various things but it just keeps on dropping out. I still use the sounds live, just have to keep pressing 'P' when they drop out which is a bit of a pain. Good Luck!
  2. Hi Maddcow, update as promised. Unfortunately the situation is still the same. I may now try and create a new patch using the same channel settings within a totally new concert (just the one patch for now) and see if that makes any difference. Down side is due to holidays we have a five week break. Thanks again for trying.
  3. Hi Third space, not sure if this is what you're after, but this is what i do to display lyrics and chords etc for each patch i use. In layout mode, drag the TEXT box from the screen controls palette (lower half of screen) on to the layout screen (upper half) and position it to suit your needs. This will now appear in all your patches. In edit mode select the desired patch. Click on the text box in the upper half of the screen. Now enter any text you would like to be displayed, in the box on the lower part of the screen. You can edit this any time, size, font, colour etc. Hope this helps!
  4. Thank you for your help. Much appreciated. I shall give that a go and let you know how it goes. I need to keep the Wi-fi on as i control the stage monitor mixes using X32 edit. Thanks again.
  5. Hi Maddcow, thanks for your reply. Autosave was enabled, so i've stopped that. I have a 16" macbook pro with these specs - hope this helps!
  6. Thanks again Simon, I have some screenshots showing my current settings. Let me know if you think i should change anything? Cheers Mark
  7. Hi Simon, thank you for your reply. When you say what drive, i'm assuming you mean the one in my macbook? If so, i use a 16" macbook pro with a M1 Pro processor. Not sure if this helps. Thanks Mark
  8. Hi everyone, I have had this issue for a little while and would love to get it solved. I have a patch with seven channel strips, five of which are assigned to STUDIO HORNS. Only three of these strips play at any one time. The beginning of this particular song involves a brass solo. This is again repeated throughout the song. It always starts fine, but as we go through the song the audio for these strips just stops whilst playing and then doesn't come back. I play this at home and it's fine, no problems but as soon as i get in to a band environment (practice or live) the same thing happens every time. I then have to resort to a second patch that has FULL BRASS channel strips instead of STUDIO HORNS. This is o.k but is doesn't sound as good. I use my macbook through a focusrite interface with a M-Audio Axiom 61 key controller. The only thing i can think of that is different to when i'm playing at home is that in a band environment, when things are a bit louder, i am possibly hitting the keys a bit harder and that this maybe triggering some sort of aftertouch setting which causes the issue. I may just be clutching at straws but i have spent many an evening trying to resolve this and just when i think i have, we do a gig and it's still there - so frustrating. Any thoughts or potential fixes would be very welcome. Thanks in advance Mark
  9. HI Guys, you've always been very helpful in the past, so hopefully will again. I run the metronome in mainstage on output channel 3. This gives us the tempo of a song before we start in our ears, not front of house. Since 3.6 & 3.6.1 the channel volume defaults to 0 / off. I change it to 0db and have saved it at set level and concert level but still every time i open the concert i have to go and change it. I know it's not a major issue - more annoying, but it was o.k before the upgrade. Any help will be much appreciated.
  10. Hi Guys, I am after your professional assistance yet again! I am in a 5 piece band playing covers. MS is my 'keyboard'. We have an acoustic drummer which in the main is fine, but on occasions, depending on the venue, we just can't get a real good thump from the kick drum. We have access to a clip on drum trigger. Is it possible to put the other end of the trigger in to a separate input on my scarlett 6i6 interface and then configure a channel strip in MS to somehow trigger a kick drum sound from the likes of Ultrabeat or EXS24, and then i could route it through a separate output back to the desk? I realise there is probably a lot going on here but any help / assistance would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Mark
  11. Many thanks CCT I had the metronome channel strip but kept trying to get to the metronome pane because thats what it says in the online help / manual. I have changed the outputs via the strip and works a treat. Always easy when you know how!! Thanks again - much appreciated
  12. Hi guys, Currently using MS 3.2.4. Just got a new audio interface with more than 2 outputs. I would like to change the output channel of the metronome to output(s) 3 (&4) so i can route it through to monitors only - not FOH. I have read that i need to go into MS preferences then under the general tab go to the metronome pane. I have seen screen shots of this so i know what to look for. I don't have this on my tab. I have Tuning, Startup, Alerts, Parameter values and Autosaving. Any ideas how i can get this to appear? Many thanks as always. Mark
  13. Hi Eric, hopefully you will see this reply. i have been playing around getting my set all up to scratch and have just one anomaly. It affects all of my sounds that have an organ of some sort. On my M-audio it is fine but on my vortex, the sound is different like there is something missing! The only thing i have found so far is that when i am in the VB3 editor, when i play on my m-audio, the 'UPPER' light, lights up, and it sounds like it should. When i play on my Vortex, the 'LOWER' light is lit -- screenshot attached, and the sound is very different. Any clues would be great as i need to sort by this weekend for my next gig. Much appreciated Mark
  14. Hi Eric, sorry for the delay. I have been playing around and on the layout screen and I now have two keyboards (Axiom and Vortex). No problem with the Axiom but i have had problems getting any sound from the Vortex. In the mean time I have switched to Mainstage 3 as well I have got the Axiom working by going in to each of the channel strips on a patch, going in to the midi input box in the inspector window, and then under input, changing the keyboard from 'Axiom' (which is allocated to channel 1) to multitambral and allocate channel 2 to Vortex. I can now see the layers on each of the keyboards on the main screen look the same. I have only done this on one patch so far. Is this the right way to do it or is there a global way I:E so I only have to do it once? No problem if not, just thought it might save some time. If neither is the right way can you help to point me in the right direction? Much appreciated Mark
  15. Thank you Eric, i will give that a go. It looks easy enough, but then it always does. I am away for a couple of days and then going on holiday for 2 weeks so if i don't reply by the end of this week, it isn't because i'm not grateful, i may not have chance to have a look at it until i come back. Many thanks again
