  1. Anyone else experiencing this? I can't be the only noob with no three finger drag. I did forget to mention that I also use Better Touch Tool, but I have been using it for quite some time now without any glitch...
  2. Naming the pages in Logic Remote Key Command window. AUTOMATION, PLUGINS, WINDOWS, NAVIGATION, REGIONS, COMPS, etc. The separator where the dots are that reflect the pages: ideal placement.
  3. 1) Naming screensets to be able to read them in the menu bar. I try to use the same screensets from project to project but it just doesn't work that way. If I was able to name "1" "MAIN/MIXER" and "2" "MAIN/ULTRABEAT," it would greatly improve workflow.
  4. I am using the Logi Craft keyboard. I don't believe I had to install drivers for it. Where can I look for installed drivers? thank you
  5. yes i can drag regions but not sliders. some rotaries [which are set as linear].....
  6. I searched the forum for this topic and couldn't find anything regarding this matter, which seems odd.... I no longer have the ability to use three finger drag on many of the controls in Logic. It seems like its only the sliders and linear controls of rotaries. I have to click-drag them now. I believe this started happening with the 10.3 update..... I don't use click-drag at all, in Logic or any computing. I thought I could live with it, but it's become rather annoying not having it.
  7. thanks, fisherking, i'll hold onto the vst's but dumping the avid folder. 1.4 GB gained...
  8. I am freeing up space on my computer, and I discovered in Application Support an Avid folder full of plugins [.aaxplugin]. Can I delete these without issue? Thanks in advance,
  9. I am having the same issue. In the piano roll, I cannot select any region; the piano roll inspector header, beneath the instrument name, states "No Regions Selected" as i select region in the main window [highlighted]. It is occurring in third party plug-in tracks and Logic's instrument tracks.
  10. Thank you for this.... I was sure that I wasn't in touch or latch mode when recording controller assignments a multitude of times.
  11. I seem to have resolved my 9.1.7 issue. Before Apple addressed the malware posing as an Adobe update, I had clicked the "Update" button for what was supposed to be a Flash player update, but instead: a world of hurt and three weeks of troubleshooting. Lucky for me, I live and work with a savvy techgenius, and he was able to spot the nasty bit of code, wreaking havoc but not completely malicious. However the damn thing was trying to take over my camera! Anyway, after disposing of said malware, Logic 9.1.7. running okay, small CPU spikes in one core but nothing I couldn't negotiate. I decided to RotoRooter my MacBook and wiped the OS and reinstalled. Time-consuming but didn't take the three weeks of OSpurgatory.
  12. I've had the same problem. I read on another thread to disable the 32-bit bridge. I'm going to give it a try.
  13. This update has been nothing been a complete disaster. 9.1.6 was running fine. All plugins solid. Now, if all I have is one audio track on new empty template. The cpu meter spikes continually. I threw out all my preferences, disabled all third party plugins. Still the same thing. I am going to try disabling the 32-bit bridge and see if that helps. I hope Apple remedies this soon.
  14. I recently purchased the new MacBook Air as an addition to my studio. I am discovering that there is no thunderbolt to FireWire 400 or USB adaptor. Both of my audio interfaces, MOTU Ultralite and Saffire Pro24 only have FireWire 400. Is there a way to get around this?
