Triplets, Time Machine stopped working on my Mac Pro a few years ago, but to answer your question no, it wasn't an option. MacBook Pro 15inch mid 2012 running 10.13.6 skijumptoes: thanks for the offer, I've still got the old Emagic Logic Black binder, dongle, and install disks somewhere too! haha used to run it on a Blue and White G3 if you remember those!

Let me back up further, I had a corruption on my Mac Pro in January, and when I did an archive/reinstall it really goofed things up. LogicPro is still working fine to record, but I'm having a lot of problems of it telling me plugins aren't available, asking to please locate impulse responses, etc. I was thinking of doing a full wipe on the Mac Pro and reinstall, but wanted to see if I could put it on my older, but new to me MacBookPro just for safety sake, but you say it won't work with High Sierra. Not sure what to do? Can't upgrade on my MacPro, it's stuck at OS10.6.8 I believe is as high as it will go.

I'm still on Logic Pro 9.1.8 on a Mac Pro OS10.6.8, wondering how I can move it to a newer MacBook Pro if I don't have the install disks? I have a serial number obviously, but have misplaced/lost my install disks in our move several years ago. I know I didn't purchase it through the app store as it wasn't even offered there yet I believe. Am I screwed?!

I don't believe so, if you see in the last screen shot it's asking to locate 4.4sBig Plate.SDIR and it is in the bottom row of that folder shown listed as 4.4Big Plate.cst Right?

Hey David, thanks for the assistance. It first looks for these in another folder named Logic that is in the user music folder ie: user/music/logic where some session folders are stored. When I try to direct it to the correct folder where it's always been user/library/applicationsupport/logic/bus/ you'll see the greyed out .cst files along with some others. Thanks in advance for any help.

I essentially have, but have not resolved the Space Designer .cst issues? Any thoughts on that?

Hey guys/gals, I had a recent computer issue that directed me to run disk repair from instal disk. However, it never gave me the option to repair and did a install/archive instead! That created a new user account and moved my original user to a "previous systems" folder. Apple Support thought I could just copy and paste the previous systems folder to the "new user" folder, and create a new user id with the "old" original name, and attach that folder when prompted, which I did. Well n doing so it seems like it screwed with the directories or something? I can't find my email accounts or where they message are stored, and upon opening up apps up again, Mac Pro acted like things were in the wrong places and gave me some error messages and ask me to check the compatibility of programs? Anyway, here's my question: Logic opened last session fine, but kept asking to find several instances of same plugin setting which I found inside the channel-strip folder. What is weird though, is that when I found it (.cst file) everything looks fine, but when Logic asks me to locate it and I direct it to that folder then it it greyed out along with some others, not all though. Also, some effect plugins like ValHalla are not showing up when I try to insert them, however they show up in my ProTools fine? Appreciate any help.. -Paul
