  1. Thanks for responding - yes, if I unplug the additional midi interface it does stop the note doubling from happening. Is there anything I can do to be able to have both interfaces connected and still get rid of the problem though?
  2. Hi, I'm using a Dave Smith Prophet 08 standing in for a midi controller keyboard for Logic, and I've been getting doubled notes whenever I record MIDI into Logic with the Prophet keyboard. The notes come out as two identical notes, same position (give or take a few ticks), same velocity, same length. I've looked at a bunch of similar threads, and I've tried turning off Local Control and setting the keyboard to only Channel 1, and nothing seems to help. People have suggested switching off "Soft Thru" but I don't seem to have that option on the Prophet's settings. This didn't use to happen, and the only thing I can think of is that I recently added an Arturia Keystep to my rig to control some outboard synths, hooked up through the same USB MIDI network (I have 2 iConnectivity interfaces connected to my iMac). Is there some way that the system is reading 2 notes simultaneously because I have 2 keyboards hooked up to 2 interfaces to the same computer? Help please!
