hi thanks for your reply. in the end it was my mistake. there is an option in snapping menu - snap edits to zero crossing. unchecking that did the trick. hope it helps someone.

Hi Guys Every few months I am just checking this forum if someone found a remedy to this. I have tried all the usual aspects (as in previous posts) but logic "pro" snapping is still broken at least on my system. To me this is a deal breaker and that is why I only use logic for basic mixing and mastering now. I have sent feedback to apple team but still no success for me. Why is this so hard. Ableton Live, Studio One and others are spot on... Please check the video of what I am talking about and if you have some ideas if this is possible to fix with what I got please chime in. thanks for your input. i know about those additional options but the thing is its still not good when you use marquee tool cut within your audio loop for example. what happens is that when you zoom in it wont be on absolute value say 1/32 etc. same happens to me when division setting is on. i know its a small issue but with live or studio one its always dead on. the thing is it was always like that even in logic pro 9 that is why i am hoping that someone can offer his view on working with audio in arrangement window. have a look on the video i made to show what i am talking about. thanks again for your help. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15157833/logicfail.mp4

Hi Guys If some of you have a minute would you share of how you go about your workflow in arrangement view. I mean building up arrangement using copy/paste techniques, duplicating etc. (just basic stuff really) I love Logic Pro as a whole package but this is the only thing that gets me frustrating - using smart tool for that stuff is never accurate 100 % (at least i my case) so I have to zoom in and cut precisely what I am trying to duplicate. I tried to change my snap option to division etc to make it more on point but this is not working me for me either as it should be. To be honest I am also using Studio One and Ableton Live on daily basis and in this area those programs kill it for me at least in that department. So again It if some of you could share few tips of how you go about this it would be a great help to me. Thanks !

Hi This issue was introduced with 9.1.6 update. In my opinion they are trying to optimize this version for next release. Unfortunately the down side for us is this problem that happens now. At the moment you have two choices, if you are the owner of logic studio 2 package reinstall logic pro and then update it from 9.0 to 9.1.5 only . The other option i am afraid so is that you are going to have to get used to this issue as there is no fix for that for the time being. Regards Wojtek

i can confirm there is a definite issue with arranger window. i am not sure how many of you tried to adjust automation manually but on my 30 tracks project when i switched into autmation mode and tried to do little bits suddenly logic just run out of memory and now i cant get this done cause it happens each time. hopefully they can get this sorted quick cause at the moment this app is unusable to me .

Hi Guys This might look strange but I have recently updated to 9.1.6 (btw havent used logic pro in a while). I was working this weekend in it and tried to use transposition parameter in the inspector menu. I have marked all the notes in piano roll and wanted to moved them up but this paramater is not working for me at all. It was ok in previous versions. Can someone help me with this ? Regards Wojtek

the first link if you itb and have no access to real bass you can try to use some fingered sampled bass with eq and compression plus sine wave as a sub bass to add another layer (just load exs24 as it generates sine when no sample loaded) another one is just a sine wave i guess again with eq and compression to make it more prominent in the mix (as previously load exs24 and you done, you can also use efm1 for that)

i can only recommend running virus through your sound card. you can get good quality recording using virus usb but you need dedicated usb input in your pc/mac otherwise you will get noise, cracking issues all the time (they are subtle but you can still hear them)... there should not be big difference in a quality as virus is a 24 bit audio interface the only thing i have noticed is that the usb output is really quiet comparing to running it through audio outputs.
