  2. Thanks for the replies guys. I'm pretty sure I didn't drag a cycle or record past the end but I'll definitely keep an eye out for that.
  3. Has anyone noticed the project end time changing on its own since 9.1.5? Am I just going crazy? I haven't been able to narrow anything down that might cause it but I've noticed it about 10 times now and I'm fairly certain I didn't change it manually. I am running in 64 bit mode and it is a pretty simple session, only 11 tracks.
  4. You can click and drag the little speaker icon in the bottom left of the video window, or you can go into Project Settings->Video and drag the "Movie Volume" slider all the way left. Be sure that if you are using the "Export Audio to Movie" function you must DESELECT the audio in the final dialog box that pops up or else the original audio will be in the movie that you bounce.
  5. Are you grouping the tracks and enabling phase-locked editing?
  6. It sounds like you want the playhead to move, not a region or event. To do this you need to use the "Forward" and "Rewind" commands, and unfortunately there are no forward/rewind commands for ticks. The options you have are forward/rewind by transient, one frame, or division value. What are you trying to accomplish when going forward/rewind by one tick, maybe there's another way to do what you want?
  7. Go into the Environment and make sure the "Prelisten" channel isn't muted and it is assigned to your stereo output.
  8. Cmd + Drag the yellow level indicator in automation mode, this will scale all of your volume automation up or down.
  9. If it's the comp you want to save, rename and duplicate your comp in the comp menu, then record your next take and you can still return to your previous comp and add in the new take(s) if you want.
  10. It's also possible you accidentally removed the record enable button from the track headers. You can cntrl+click on any track header and select "Configure Track Header" and select whatever you want.
  11. The note length will be the same as whatever note was last created. So if you create a 16th note you will create more 16th notes, if you click and drag to create a quarter note, you will continue to create quarter notes.
  12. Is your .omf located in the pro tools session folder? I believe it needs to be there so it knows where to find the audio files.
  13. I don't have any experience using 3rd party Apple loops but one thing you might try is opening them up in the Apple Loops Utility, ensuring all of the settings are correct, and re-saving them.
  14. Pay attention, because this gets tricky: Step 1: Put the apple loop in your project. That's it! Apple loops automatically conform to the project tempo and any key change events.
