Hi I did not find out, how place the imported content at the Song Position Line of the New Project. In Pro Tools the content is just placed where I put the cursor. Everything else is smooth. Thanks for any Hint. Christian

Hi When I record a surroundpanner automation and after that record a volume automation, the surroundpanner automation is being deleted, or kind of re-written starting the moment, as I beginn writing volume automation. Latch or Touch mode doesn't matter. It does not happen with other automation parameters as plugin or send parameters. Any Idea why ? Best Christian

Hi Can you flawless open LPX files created in version 10.4.x with LPX 10.3.x ? If not: Could I install LPX 10.4 on the new system (to build the original folder structure, settings,templates, etc.) and then copy and paste a LPX 10.3.x version from my MacPro (just the app) ? i‘m setting up a new system with High Sierra. The only version that appears in AppStore is 10.4.x. As I have other computers with 10.3.x, the logic files need to bee compatible. I can not upgrade the other computers to High Sierra, too old but still running very well... Thanks for any advice Christian

If you need it for creating live delays (i did it severall times for experimental live performances), you can chain as many delays as you like. Set them to 100% wet, 0 % dry. If one all the plugin slots are used, just route it to a bus, etc. Have fun !

Hi everybody I just run into an issue: trying to combine severall projects into a single one, I realised, that pasting selected regions from project x into project y lets pop up the dialog if I'd like to create new tracks for the copied regions. clicking that options, creates new, duplicated tracks, but not new audio objects...(duplicating existing audio objects also in the environnement). This happens also with a new song. It does not happen if I paste multiple audiofiles by dragging and dropping into the arrange window. That way (and clicking the"create new audiotracks-option") it creates additional tracks, properly assigned to newly created audio objects. Is there any other workaround other than add additional new audiotracks before pasting the copied regions ? Thanks, Christian

David, thank you for your confirmation. I did some more testing and found out: the first issue I could reproduce on my MacBook Pro, internal audio, seems to be software related. Concerning the second issue: If the tempo (in BPM) matches a multiple of the framerate (in my case a multiple of 25), you can nudge regions by frames the same amount right and then left, et voila, the region is back at its original position. This behavior is quite annoying, especially if working for movie-stuff, and sometimes the tempo is an issue... If I've got some time tomorrow, I will check earlier versions of LogicPro. Christian

Hi there in preferences I set display to SMPTE/EBU with samples, the song start displays 1 1 1 1 at 01:00:00:00.0022 I can manually type in 1:00:00:00:0000, it will display that, but as soon as i start to add files to the arrangement, fiddling a bit, after some time, 1 1 1 1 again will display +22 samples This does not happen with either display set to min;sec;millisec or ;samples Anybody can confirm this ? Second question: If i move a region (using kc) by single frames, following happens: Nudge region position right by SMPTE frame - counting up +1, +2, +3 and so on, all ok. The reversed way, nudge region position by SMPTE frame to the left, it does not move exactly by 1 frame, it alters with some subframes or, samples. So the regions positiion after 3 times nudge right followed by 3 times left wont't be the same... weird.... Any clues ? Thanks christian

Hi folks maybe easy to resolve: If i press F, the browser opens. so far ok. But: I'd like to have the "Project-Tab* in the foreground if i press F. Now its the "all-Files-Tab" activated. I tried several things like lock, unlock screens and save. No help. The funny thing: on my MAcbookPro its exactly the way i like it... What will do the trick ? Thanks a lot. Christian

why not el capitan ? I did the switch from mavericks to el capitan, bypassing yosemite. No problem so far, al good in my case christian
