  1. I’ve been using a Nectar Impact LX25 for a while, and it’s worked pretty well up until this morning. For some reason the knobs stopped controlling the channel volume (as is the default). I tried deleting the device in Logic and re-installing with Nektar's installer, but no luck. When I turn a knob, the controller is sending data, but it has no effect inside Logic. Everything else — keys, pads, mod wheel, etc — works just fine. I haven’t made any changes that I know of. Looking at the controller assignments, everything seems correct, but I honestly have very little idea of what I’m looking at. I may have to do a deep dive on how controller assignments work in Logic, but I have other things to do today, so if anyone has any ideas on what could have gone wrong and how to fix it I’d be grateful.
  2. Did you resolve this? I have a Korg nano but haven't upgraded to 10.4.5 yet I have not. Nor have I established that it’s a common issue and not something specific to my setup. I haven’t found an account from anyone with the same problem.
  3. So I downloaded this update, and suddenly my Korg nanoKontrol 2 stopped working. I tried deleting it from the Control Surface setup and then re-adding it, but it won’t add. I haven’t been using the Korg driver for a while because the nanoKontrol worked fine without it, and it caused stability problems when it was installed. It hasn’t been updated for a few years. I’d love to hear from anyone with a similar experience or suggestion.
  4. I was also having a persistent and annoying problem with the Nanokontrol2. Earlier this week, I tried deleting these files: /Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers/KorgUSBMIDIDriver.plugin /System/Library/Extensions/advKorgUSBMIDIDriver.plugin After resetting midi in Logic and rebooting, the core midi problem was gone and the Nanocontrol2 still works even without its drivers. It’s only been a few days, but I’m cautiously optimistic that the problem is fixed.
  5. . . . and some drums and keyboards. I put all of these up on my homepage, which I will update periodically. DrumsKeyboards.zip
