  1. Hi, all I am running into a routing issue and hoping that someone can help when using the d-box in connection with logic. Currently now, I have my mix playing back in my "DAW" input selection and it sounds exactly how I want it to bounce. Problem I am having is that when I am recording it back into Logic, it is playing the "SUM" version because of my output routing and it's not sounding the way I want. I need to basically bounce the song out how I have it now as 1 track with all of the stems on 1 chan. Typically I would record back into logic and the DAW & SUM would sound very close, but for some reason the "SUM" is creating a sound that I do not want and I simply want to bounce it from the "DAW" settting I have on the dbox. hope this was clear.
  2. image a drum loop. i'm dropping the midi on a track and using the piano instrument to playback. The song (midi) needs to be faster. I need to be able to mix it like a technican 1200 same way by adjust pitch. HOpe i was clear.
  3. Hi not in logic X but logic pro hoping that this feature is the same or the command is similar. I dropped a midi file that needs to over lap a beat but it is out of sync. Is there an easy way to get it on beat by telling the file it is a certain bpm? if so how is that done? or what is the best way to utilize another midi file but fit is so it is on beat with the project you are working on?
  4. This is why I hate upgrading it's the number one destroyer in TIME. (upgraded to new operating system) not logic 10 yet, Anytime you upgrade there will always be bullshit error that appear. This never happen to me and it's saying clip board memory is full in logic 9 ???/
  5. I have a qustion with logic pro not the 10 version. Please move this question to that area i'm not sure if this forum still supports it I hope it does. I am receiving an error code that says results code =- 43 how do i clear this as it keeps stoping my project?
  6. Hi, I don't have logic 10 yet, but have a problem with 9 that some of you may know how to fix. By mistake I loaded a large file into the audio arrange window and hit the (process faster button, but audio may be unstable) prompt that appears when you add something to the time line. Now when I want to cut it or edit the file, it's not allowing me to do it precisely. is there a way I can allow logic to reinvest the file again without deleting it or a way to repair the file? hope you can help.
  7. i'm having a glich where when I am highlighting what I want to play back and then I move audio around, the highlighted area on top of my arrange window moves. so imagine i am highlighting parts 30-40 and if you play that it will loop right. Then I go into one of my audio tracks and move and edit and the loop extends or changes WHY ??? please let me know if there is correction for this?
  8. Ok I didn't upgrade to Logic 10 yet. Why? Because I know of course, there are new things changed to different areas and things apple always changes that ends up putting me months behind to get back to the normal speed of how I use logic 9. So with that said, I'm looking for everyones thoughts about the transition what you really love about it and what you hate about it and importantly how did you fell about the transition between the two.
  9. Question about bouncing audio, when I bounce a track and it is someone touching the "red" and then I open up the file in another application for example "Adobe audition" just to visualize were my wav levels look, my track looks as if lower and I need to use extra gain in adobe to bring it up to normal levels. For example +3 DB so it sounds comparable to other songs. Is this normal, or am I missing a few things on my output chain that will always keep my levels mastered high and clear. I did some test with some other songs and loaded them in and there wave files are basically overloading always hitting the red in adobe audition, but for some reason sounds clear as day. Is there a basic key to this? What are you suggestions?
  10. the setting is" audio and software insturment tracks" what exactly is this for and how would this effect what my question was thank
  11. Hi I'm having a bouncing issue with logic9 - process should still be the same for 10 version users. When listening to the song, through all the sum it sounds great., but after I record my mix back into logic after it's summed (dbox) I fell that the recording is not as tight as I am hearing it originally through all of the sums. It's as if the warms and punch is taken down a notch. For anyone that follows the same concepts and records there sum back into logic to be bounced out again, what can I do or fix so that my mix will sound "Exactly" as hear when I listen to it through all of the sums. For example 1-2,3-4,-5-6 hope you understand. Thanks,
  12. Within my arraignment, I have loaded a plugin but while I am recording I would like to tweek effects on the fly into another audio track, but I am unsure how to rout it. For example, instead of doing it then after solo it then bouncing it and importing it in, I would like to save time by just recording what I'm doing live to an audio track. this way I can load other plugins and sounds while keeping the audio track recorded live so it picks up everything. , Importantly I do not want to hear other tracks mixed, I only want to have recorded what I doing, is it possible?
  13. i didn't upgrade to 10 yet have a quick question. I am trying to rout my audio from stereo 1-2, to other locations such as 3-,4,5,6 or in some cases just a mono output as 5 , but the problem is in logic, for some reason I don't see the options for routing to other then 1-2 it's as if it disappeared. Can someone let me know i need to uncheck something i hit by mistake/
  14. this is why i hate logic. I am running logic studio and I am simply dragging an audio file from one track to another and after I do this logic studio goes into a freeze stage where i have to restart the application.
