  1. If I adjust the 'recording delay' that just seems to affect the timing of the audio while recording and does nothing to remedy the actual delayed recording issue.
  2. Okay, so I'm running the MOTU ultralite into Logic X, it's weird, when recording, I can hear the beat playing perfectly on beat 1- but when I play it back, even midi-quantized beats play out of time, by some 33 ticks or so. Is there any way to make it so that Logic plays back the audio I record in time? I currently have my Motu Ultralite clock source set to internal. Should I be using SMPTE or something?
  3. Okay so when if I arm an audio and MIDI track and just press play, the incoming audio is muted? Yet if I click arm audio track after I press play, incoming audio is audible. Is this a crazy glitch? Had the same issue with 9, it's really inconvenient having to stop everything, disarm then re-arm after pressing play. "Independent Monitoring Level" and Low Latency Mode are both off. Many thanks.
  4. Spent a few hours trying to make a template set with these MPC1000 and 3000 grooves http://www.logic-cafe.com/lc/index.php/make-your-own-groove-templates-in-logic-pro Unfortunately, maybe because they're older, these files mess up my midi playback. if I create a new software instrument in this file, the input keys play when pressed, but the midi doesn't play back. If I open just a new file, there's no problem, so there has to be something with this file that's different. Either that or it's just a Logic 9 bug. Would appreciate any help, as Logic's groove sets are a bit limited. I have tried moving the plist file from library/pref to the desktop, but it made no difference. Also there's no crazy delay time set on the MIDI, which was a problem some Logic X users seem to be having. Thanks.
  5. Hi, I'm running Logic 9 on the new macbook retina. Everything works fine except in the main arrangement window, the horizontal scrolling bar has lost the little bits on each side that allow you to zoom in and zoom out on a particular area! Is this a known problem? Is it just a bug with my system or do other people have this problem? Thanks.
  6. hiya, I'm using ES2 as a bass for a drum and bass track. I was trying to get a smooth sound by setting to 'legato' and having all the midi events bump into each other a bit, so there are no gaps between notes. Unfortunately it keeps on fading out by the time it reaches the end of the phrase. Is there a way to make the bass not lose volume as it progresses? Thanks! Geo
