  1. Asher I think you are going to have to eat your hat on this one. I am having the exact same problem. Only happens with omnisphere and only happens on the initial attack of each note. Letting the notes play to the end before printing makes the problem go away. Maybe the 2 cycle recording option is intended to solve this kind of buffer issue.
  2. it doesnt work like that. you have to record enable the track and record data there. time to crack the manual.
  3. what do you mean by signal? audio signal or is there an incoming midi signal in the transport. I just want to make sure you understand that battery does not have a built in sequencer. It has to be triggered by midi info coming from an external trigger, be it a keyboard, drumpad, or midi data written to its track in logic.
  4. you could setup one track for each cell, but i don't think any of logic's virtual instruments record note when mouse clicking. there is a computer keyboard mode in logic which would work. hit caps lock with the preference turned in logic for caps log = computer keyboard.
  5. you have to trigger it via midi and record to it's track as any other virtual instrument track.
  6. i just tried this setup with my mpc and it's great except i am getting sustained notes when triggering with the mpc repeat key. this only happens while hitting the keys. when i play back the recorded notes there is no sustain. any ideas??
  7. i started using an application named audio finder. works great for looping among other things. i think it is icedaudio.com
