Hi
After many years of faultless Logic use, my mac developed an internal HD data corruption and Logic started ( not responding ) or just crashing on opening.
Using Techtool Pro 6. I cleared the corruption and also found the HD was heavily fragmented. So I defragmented the HD.
Logic still will not open without crashing or hanging. ( All my other Apps on the computer Photoshop,Word, etc, open and run with no problem.
I managed to open a file off an external HD with Logic and then an earlier version of Logic off an external HD ,but got the following message.
( Error in parameter list / Not an existing volume, and no default volume / Bad positioning information / Bad drive number.) then it crashed.
When I run Disk Permissions in the Mac and Tech-tool Pro using eDrive from TT Pro they both tell me that disk Permissions are repaired but when I check ,the same list of repairs required are still there. i.e not repaired.
I am at a total loss as to what to do to fix this problem
Hope someone can help
