  1. Im experiencing audible latency on a number of my channels in a project. All tracks are visually on the beat and in time on the bpm counter. Any ideas what might be the culprit and where I should start investigating? I think it might be something to do with the bussing but can't figure it out.
  2. I imported a bunch of Auxes (with pre-existing routing) into my mix template and they have messed up all my templates bus numbering/labeling. How do I avoid this happening? I didn't check the box that said "Keep Bus Number" from the import browser because i though this meant to keep the bus numbering of the imported buses. Should I have checked this box?
  3. Does anyone have any idea about this? About to perform another channel import and trying not to have it mess up the bus numbering/labelling in the project I'm importing to
  4. Can someone tell me where I can change the number of backups logic stores? thanks
  5. @mothershout this was super helpful, and relatively straight forward. thanks.
  6. Am sporadically getting this error; "An audio unit plugin reported a problem...". Is there any way to pinpoint which plugin is causing it?
  7. Thanks. He's using a different OS. Might be why
  8. Super strange I get haptics on both these behaviours. Could it be a software/hardware version issue? Whats are your running on?
  9. My MBP M1 16in trackpad feel like it's almost creaking when performing certain tasks in Logic. Like moving audio regions around the Arrange window. When scrolling through plugin lists with the trackpad suppressed. Also when moving plugins between different slots in the mixer. The haptics seem delayed, and sometimes they occur eg. when you move a plugin to a slot, and sometimes they don't. Everything feels slightly inconsistent to what's going on on screen. Anyone else experienced this? If I turn off "Force Click and Haptic Feedback" the haptics no longer occur.
  10. Is it normal that once my project is loaded it takes another couple of minutes for all my plugins to load on each channel strip? Aren't plugins meant to load during initial project loading? I have "Only load plugins needed for project playback" is switched off
  11. @Atlas007 I had the project on an external drive. Purchased a new mac recently and moved the project from the external drive to my desktop as thought it might help with the loading time issue I was having. I'll try what @David Nahmani recommended and report back
  12. @Atlas007 I managed to get the project working OK by opening without Core Audio switched on (press and hold ctrl after startup), and then turning core audio back on once the project has opened. But when I try and open the project normally it gets to the end of the loading bar then freezes (get the wheel of death). Any idea what the problem might be and where I can go from here? There are a number of plugins in the project which now arent installed on my new machine and show an alert on startup. Would this have anything to do with the issue?
  13. Actually there are 70 audio files 40-80mb each. That'll explain it. Didn't realise it was such are big project. Thanks anyway. Will know where to check next time. Do you happen to have any idea about the issue re lack of sound when I open the project?
  14. @Atlas007 thanks for the links. I uninstalled my Waves plugins and managed to get the project to load ok. Have yet to reinstall them but my project does have a few Waves plugins in it. However now I'm running into another issue. When I load the project there is no sound (can see track meters moving but not master fader meter). I have to reset my Output device to MacBook Pro speakers (input to nothing) and then all the plugins in my project deactivate and I can hear sound, at least until the plugins reactivate. Do you have any ideas? Trying to avoid rebuilding project as it's a large one and don't have the time atm.
