Thank you for your replies! I have the same thing where every note gets selected.
I guess I should give more context here - I'm doing some virtual orchestration for a project with a client, a string quintet. Usually for switching between articulations, I use either different patches (vln leg, vln stcc etc.) keyswitches. I'm using LA Scoring Strings for this project, not any sounds that are native to Logic.
Now, the Score Editor is one part of Logic that I haven't spent a lot of time in at all, I'm more of a piano roll guy. I could be wrong here, but after a little research, it seems that the articulation ID function plays nicely with anything native to Logic, but might not work so well with 3rd party libraries.
That being said, if I were to make a note staccato in the Score Editor via drag and drop from the Part Box, will that automatically designate the corresponding Articulation ID? This does not seem to happen when I do this, maybe there's a setting that I need to flip somewhere?
Either way, I've mostly got around what I needed to do just by selecting notes manually for the time being.
