  1. You say the difference is the resulting desired frequency. How do creators decide on what two frequencies to use? Because those two frequencies can sound harsh. There must be some standard. For example theta 4-7 for suggestions etc. Are there popular combos to get theta frequencies?
  2. Theta frequencies like the one on this site are often used for therapy. https://beinspiredchannel.com/download/6-hz-auto-suggestion-program/ How does this work because we cannot hear 6Hz so is that why the inaudible 6Hz is modulated with a tone that seems to be around 110Hz? How do they decide what tone to modulate it with and also the speed of the modulation? What is the easiest way to generate tones in Logic? Ive used the Test Oscillator before but it doesn't go below 20Hz. Are there better plugins for this kind of usage? Do most people just pull up a sign wave in ES2? But how do you make it 6Hz? And what utility would you recommend to confirm frequencies and other testing? Thanks
  3. It seems I'm the only one who likes to start songs around bar 5 or 9 to give me room to experiment before the song. Unfortunately Arrange markers do like these kind of people and do not cooperate. You cannot freely move Arrange Markers around willy-nilly. You can only click + and then you're confined to arrange prison. I've had to resort to using "nil" in my arrangements.
  4. I agree but I think it's more intuitive to have them be global THEN have a preference setting where you can turn global off. Right now they don't even have a preference setting to make screensets global which is very elementary. Why not give a choice. In code it's literally just a few lines.
  5. wow...that's what you call an oversight. I guess they thought it was easy enough to import settings but it isn't when you're opening several projects every day. Thanks for the quick response.
  6. I created screensets but when I'm in other projects the same screenshots aren't there. I know we don't have to create screensets every time so what am I doing wrong? Of course I have saved a template with those same screensets but that's not the same thing. I want to be able to use my new screensets with existing projects or take screensets to other location etc.
  7. Besides looking at channel strip meters is there a way to tell what these AUX belong to? i.e. I/O or mapping window? There's nothing happening in the meters so is it safe to delete them? Probably left over from template stuff I deleted.
  8. Yes I did that but, I just figured I'd be able to change just the drum sound and not the kit patch. p.s. It would be nice if eventually the kick didn't have multi-output instrument instantiation. i.e. everything was separate. Surely there has to be a better implementation.
  9. OK...I need to ask one more thing. Since I am now in Drum Machine and not Designer how do I actually change the drum sound I want? Also there's on a R for the kick not the other instruments.
  10. I figured out what it was just as I was about to upload it to you. Jeeze. Turns out it was Drum Machine DESIGNER and not DRUM Machine. You don't notice it until you open the library! I really hate that about Drum Machine Designer. Sorry about that. You would've laughed when opening the file for sure. Btw, why can't we record Drum Machine Designer?
  11. "something seems off" Really? Just messing with you. Yes I hid the AUX now you can see them. But that still doesn't explain the R. Weird right?!?!?!?! I should also tell you that I just opened a new template and the same thing. WTF
  12. This is one of those things that I know is obvious but I can't figure it out. Where did the R go? Also clicking record does nothing. All other tracks have the R. This has something to do with needing to access the individual instruments within the drum machine right? We can't simply click record if we already like what we hear?
