  1. Would you be so kind as to list the directories you did "get info" on to find this info? I just did a quick look and it seems some of my dirs are smaller than this, but it says I've downloaded everything. Thanks, Chris Sure. Here you are: /Library/Application Support/Logic /Library/Application Support/GarageBand /Library/Audio/Apple Loops /Library/Audio/Impulse Responses
  2. Ok. I figured the full size of a new sound library. ~1,82 Gb of impulse responses, plus ~28,16 Gb of loops, plus ~61,49 Gb of samples in logics folder, plus ~21,21 Gb of garageband instruments, which gives in sum ~112,68 Gb. Quite an amount.
  3. Please excuse if this comes up as a double post, but I don't see the reply I wrote. How do you find out the Gb of the library? Logic didn't urge me to download anything else. Should I have gotten that message? When I click on the little gear on the far left side on the bottom of the library and use the dropdown menu, I click on "show available downloads" nothing happens. Should something heppen? Thanks. Convenient way to find out the size of your sound library is to go to about this mac/storage/manage/music creation To manage your sound library go to logic pro x menu/sound library/open sound library manager... "incomplete" message means your library is not fully downloaded.
  4. Please can smb tell me how big the full sound library is now? Before the update it was smwhere about ~92 Gb (~60 Gb of samples and ~32 Gb of loops). Now Logic pro have urged me to download another 70 Gb of new content, thus in sum the whole library should be ~162 Gb. Am I right?
  5. Thank you Eric, I get it). I thought this question was related to that topic because of multiple user folders (user loops). Sorry for that.
  6. Thanks for informing, Eric. Could you please say smth about user loops folder. I've found out that I have user loops folder in two locations : ~Library/Audio/Apple Loops/ and Library/Audio/Apple Loops. In the first location mentioned, inside user loops folder I have SingleFiles folder with loops been made by me, in the second location mentioned - Apple folder and user loops folder. Which one would be correct for Logic pro X and new High Sierra macOS?
  7. Alchemy uses up to 40% less memory than previous versions. That is worth mentioning. Great update.
  8. Thank you for the response. Presumably you are right =( Is there a workaround for that matter?
  9. Does anyone experience layout problem with the Synth1? It is totally unusable now. I'm using the last version - 1.13 beta 8
  10. Less rounding errors when summing. in practice, shouldn't mean much Thank you)
  11. Could please smb explain what 64-bit summing engine means for all of us? Thanx)
  12. I am amazed with track alternatives oO Just WOW! A bummer you can not use it for automation though =( New Interface is much easier on my eyes, I kinda like it.
  13. Unfortunately I missed out Steve H's "Logic Beat Making Secrets". What are the tips that were explained? Is it possible to find the record? =)
  14. Yes. But as I said I've seen it before in 10.0.0. So this is a comeback, so to say)
  15. This is an old one. I've noticed that behaviour way back in logic 10.0.0 release.
