  1. Getting tons of Flexi pitch glitches. No matter how subtle or extreme I have the vibrato, and pitch drift values, there are parts of my audio that are simply unusable due to Flexi Pitch sounding so over-processed and digital/glitchy. I also have a few sections that now jump up and down over an octave, creating crazy artefacts that are not present in the original audio, making Flexi Pitch completely unusable at certain points. I've tried glueing together the notes as recommended on other forum threads, but this still sounds exactly the same, despite looking different. I guess my questions are as follows: 1) - Is there some way to fix this? Am I missing something/doing something wrong? 2) - Can I at least have Flexi Pitch only on certain audio regions, and deactivate it for other regions on the same track? (I'm currently using another track with duplicated audio, with Flexi deactivated, and muting and unmuting between the 2 tracks to have flex on and off, but surely this isn't the most elegant solution. All feedback much appreciated. Cheers
  2. I have another question on the same theme. If I solo the tracks I'm laying down on (8 drum channels for example), and have my track bounces on to another channel, so effectively I have my record enabled channels and 1 other stereo channel solo'd, and the rest of my channels are inaudible, are the plugins from the other channels still affecting my latency round trip? I'm having latency issues. I'm using a Scarlett 18i20 and when tracking 8 channels of drums, there is a significant delay on those new regions of audio, verses the click. I've played with these settings and managed to get it down quite a bit, and then I'm having to 'nudge' the audio back the way. I also removed all plugins from the output channels, even they were off/bypassed, this seemed to make a little difference/ My question is, should I turn of all channels that I'm not using for tracking, or is simple soloing enough to reduce the latency? I hate using the power button on my summing/folder stacks, because when you power them back on, you lose the settings of which channels were on and which were off before. Hard to explain, but if you know, you know. All advice welcome. Thanks to all contributors to this forum, I use it a lot, so really appreciate your time. Thanks. Paul
  3. Logic Remote used to work fine, now it constantly disconnects from Logic. I've tried: -Resetting the Wifi -Erasing my Logic.10 cache and AU cache. I've done this by find the files in the Cache folder in Library, and erasing them. -Restarting Logic, Restarting Logic Remote, restarting the ipad and Macbook Pro. -I've also reinstalled Logic 10.5. -I've updated the Logic Remote App to latest Version. -I've updated my OSX -I've tried erasing the iPad from the 'Control Surface' panel, found in Logic Pro > Control Surfaces > Setup. This didnt' really help before, as I was still getting the problem. But oddly, now I can't even erase the 2 ipads that are displayed there. Sometimes it works on a fresh new Logic session, sometimes it doesn't appear at all. 'Paul D Macbook' appears on the ipad 'connect' dialogue box but when I select my 'Paul D Macbook', it just says 'Attempting to connect to Paul D Macbook'. What I'm using: MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016) - 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7 Logic 10.5.1 OS X 10.14.6 Ipad Air 2 ios 13.6.1
  4. I have a similar problem and I've tried many forums, to find a solution, but to no avail. I get: 'MIDI Timeout Logic Pro has detected a MIDI timeout. Please restart your computer, then relaunch Logic Pro. If the problem persists, update the drivers of all connected MIDI devices (including audio drivers with MIDI functionality) to the latest version. For instructions on removing older drivers, consult the manufacturers' documentation.' When I load up Logic, and when I try to press Play. It happens with old sessions and if I open a new one. I have OSX 10.7.2 and Logic Pro 9.1.6. I currently have no MIDI hardware connected or installed and no plugins installed so it can't be that. I've tried resetting my MIDI drivers also, in Preferences => MIDI. Any Ideas?? Any suggestion greatly appreciated. I'm pulling my hair out here!! Thanks
