  1. You can turn off and on the grid lines with key command: Control + G Cheers
  2. You can change the subdivision lines in the Piano Roll view. Go to View, select Customize Control Bar and Display. Under LCD, select Custom. Tick Signature/Division and any other functions you desire. You will see the time signature in the Control Bar and right underneath the time signature 4/4, it shows /16 division. Change this to /8 /32 etc and your piano roll will follow the division. Hope this helps. Cheers
  3. You can use Logic limiter to increase your overall volume. Here's a good thread to read @ viewtopic.php?f=10&t=96732 Cheers
  4. I had many encounters with importing samples and get blasted hahaha. I use Logic Gain plugin and set -6 or -12db as a default preset on all my audio tracks, hence i know i won't get blasted. Another way is to turn down the individual audio file @ http://support.apple.com/kb/PH13153
  5. No worries drb and thank you for doing this script for the rest to use. I may eventually buy the AG Toolkit. Cheers
  6. Thanks drb for the script. Sorry in advance for the noobness. I've tried as suggested doing automation by increment of the numbers and i still can't get it to work changing channel 1 sound (pizz) to channel 2 sound (shorts). If you can look into how to do this, it will be awesome @ http://www.audiogrocery.com/a.g_toolkit_video2.htm
  7. Thank you so much drb. I'll check it out now. Cheers
  8. Hi drb, I've been looking for a Free Articulation Switcher as well like Sebmo and it would be great if you can modify your current script to use key switches. Cheers David
  9. Reckon i'll try Yosemite when its available on a external/secondary HD and see how it fairs with Logic Pro X.
  10. @evenian I just tried and i got the same results of not having the record icon on audio tracks when i'm using the built in Mac sound system. Once i on my sound card Motu Ultralite, the record icon is visible. Do check if you're on your soundcard driver or Mac built in driver. Cheers
  11. Greetings everyone. I like to ask for your advise in regards to upgrading OSX and also LPX. Current Mac Pro 1.1 2.66 Ghz Dual Core can only support till 10.7.5 and i'm on OSX 10.6.8. My question is Logic Pro X worth upgrading given i have a stable system with 10.6.8 and Logic Pro 9 and with the new LPX 10.0.1 updates, would upgrading to OSX 10.7.5 be a wise choice, gaining better stability while able to use both LP9 and LPX? Hope to get some advise before i take the next step. Cheers
  12. Looks fantastic..thank you for sharing this awesome GUI mod. Cheers
  13. Aweome work mate. Btw, are you able to provide us the working file as many of us do customise our shortcut keys. This will be very useful if you don't mind sharing it with us. Cheers
  14. Another workaround is to have 8 friends to help you clap and you record them. Then you can just double it to make it sound fuller. Anyway, i have 2 samples of Clap and hopefully this helps. Cheers Claps.zip
  15. There's Claps in UltraBeat and EXS24 in them presets. Just run thru those presets and you'll find it. Cheers
