Logic 9 still has many features that makes it a solid competitor in my opinion, and Studio One (Pro) is more than twice the price of Logic Pro 9. I'll be waiting patiently though, I really hope the new Logic will be groundbreaking and worth the wait... I'd love to see something similar to Cubase's VST Expression 2

Sorry for opening this thread again, but in my experience the buffer size has a tremendous impact on midi timing. I've set it to small after I tried to work for way too long with a large buffer range and was struggling with staccato's and percussion. One percussion-loop I made (with East West samples) was actually "limping" on this setting. Glad that nightmare is over...

CME's support is non existent, literally. All the mail adresses are broken and the forum is down for almost 2 years now. I also bought an UF8 and I regret it to this day, since I've tried to make it work on OSX for about a year now. It's best to sell it to a windows user asap and remember kids: Stay AWAY from CME!
