  1. Hi. Any update here. I’m having the same issue. PDC set to all. But still pretty major phasing issues with even the most minimal parallel bussing. When trying to troubleshoot the problem I noticed that the phasing issues sounded wildly different(but still major latency phasing), when changing buffer sizes. Thanks
  2. Thanks for that. The latter is pretty annoying to have to do.. but I guess if there is no other way for now.
  3. Anyone else having trouble with tracks unfreezing. I think it's happened for me since 10.2.something if not 10 and I just didn't notice it. It helps if I protect tracks but I've still had it happen. And possible triggers might be the plugin resetting bug or UAD plugs freezing and then I use the available dsp for more plugs. What initially made me notice it was out of nowhere a UAD window would pop up letting me know plugs had been disabled because I was using too many. I was only using too many because track were unfreezing. 10.12.3 iMac 27in Late 2013 3.5 GHz i7 32GB 1600 MHz DDR3 LPX 10.3.1
  4. Wow... impressive. I wonder if there is a bigger issue of why it can't be resolved? Not to be too zoomed into my own world of production, but isn't this a real buzz kill if you want to... let's say, EDIT? I find myself "over checking" my work to make sure I've corrected anything LPX is moving around. Even still the always lingering thought of wondering how much Logic is negatively impacting my audio. The absolute worst is editing drums in group mode_phase locked, and hearing the cumulative affect of phase problems due to this bug.(even if you are not using flex btw..) I call the Shifty Devil bug.
  5. I know the inspector(Delay) does this, kind of. But not as eloquently done as with the real time monitoring of the Sample Delay plugin. I primarily use Waves InPhase to make virtual subtractive timing moves as of now. But I think Sample Delay would be a much better home for this feature.
  6. Believe it or not this is the most encouraging thing I have read having to do with this bug. I have spent countless wasted hours trying to chase down if regions moved or not on heavily edited projects and I attribute weaker less impactful mixes to this bug alone. The phase relationships are always moving around, group mode or not. The fact that they even responded is what is encouraging. I have also reported it multiple times. I have wondered if we haven't seen a fix because the house might fall down. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Ya know, I must say that this bug alone has crippled me on sooo many occasions. I will install the update in the morning but was hoping that the, (Dragging the left edge of an audio region with Snap to Zero Crossing enabled no longer sometimes causes the waveform display to make it look as though the region content has shifted.) would somehow help this. Any workarounds? I mean drum editing in group mode usually just folds because of the waveforms jumping around. Phase shifted.
  8. I was digging around try to find answers for my Matrix and stumbled onto this thread. Will try some of these steps. My main issue right now is that my board is blinking all over the place like a Christmas tree. There seems to be constant Midi Input and output on my Logic transport. I haven't contacted SSL yet. Was trying trying to wrap my head around it a bit first. Thanks for the post OP.
  9. No software company would ever release anything if those kinds of standards existed. Apple is already getting sued by a lot of European countries over this stuff. Next thing ya know you'll be forced to warranty your mixes. I would agree with whoever said it is opening a can of worms with paid bug fixes. That said, I'm all for a company having the right to make whatever they want however they want and to distribute that product however they please. And I can spend money on it or not.. Ya know, like healthcare.. Ha. Jk
  10. I see a lot of people say how much they'd rather have bug fixes rather than a Logic X. For me, it depends on what you call a bug. Most bugs that people complain about aren't present in my system. There are a few but it is what it is.... To me, flex time is almost one big bug. Yeah it works, and I use it all the time, and if you do this and that and then this and that it works great. To me, those are called work arounds. The whole flex related thing... Timing, stretching... Slowing down a track to play something and speed it back up(good luck). I think these features could have been updated to work better by now even for conservative use. When L9 was first announced I was excited that there was something else that existed other than beat detective. And you have to admit the Apple site just made it look like you just pick your algorithm or just stretch this word out and it all just sounds pristine and perfect. Well it doesn't work that way, and that's okay. But I wish it did. That would speed things up for me. That and some sort of global volume/ trim threshold feature in whatever Melodyne like feature they come out with. I really love and am used to L9. I use it everyday and rarely think about the negatives. But every now and then I grit my teeth over a few things. John
